I know it’s been a few months since I made this video and I just wanted to let you know I am working on about 6 more tracks that I hope to get out this year. As you can appreciate, these things take time as I try to make my arrangements interesting and unique. But rest assured there will be more to come.

I got TUNIC for my birthday when it released. I had a lot of anxiety issues due to PTSD around that time, and playing TUNIC just...made it go away, even for a little bit, all because of the beautiful music. You have managed to capture that calm, beautiful atmosphere amazingly well. Listening to this genuinely sent a chill across my body and put tears in my eyes. Thank you for the beautiful rendition!
Absolutely perfect arrangement. You lose a lot of instruments when doing a piano arrangement, but you managed to keep the beauty and heart of the song entirely alive

Wow I woke up this morning and this piece got a lot of love overnight. For any of you that have played or listened to the soundtrack…any recommendations. There’s about 61 pieces on the album so I need to have a proper listen and see which pieces would work well for piano

Started playing Tunic today, and first thing I noticed was the soundtrack and it’s nostalgic and atmospheric feeling. As usual I try to find piano sheet music or covers I could do of music from the games I play. This cover is absolutely amazing, it’s so calming and relaxing!! I love it so much, and thank you so much for adding the sheet music!! Can’t wait to start playing this song
Excellent arrangement Daniel; when I heard the original song a few weeks ago I thought it was complicated to make an arrangement but you have certainly done a great job! You have managed to create the atmosphere of the original song perfectly. By the way, some shots have a bit of noise in the image, have you modified the lighting or cam settings compared to your previous videos? In any case, it looks great.👍
Thanks pal. Yeah the original has a lot going on in the background electronically so it was a challenge to put it all on the piano but I’m happy with it. As far as the video goes, I didn’t notice any noise when making it. I know I struggled this time and didn’t t pick the best setup and camera angles. Videography is not my forte 😂
Wow, ok, so before I made this I was searching TH-cam to see if anyone had covered it and now I realise I clicked on your video but after a few seconds when the gameplay intro came on I just assumed it was the official version and backed out. Sorry man. I’ve actually just watched it now. It’s very good.

@@Naslund_Music hey we live and learn. Maybe change your thumbnail to make it more obvious it’s not the OST. To be honest now I look at it I see the guitar but the logo and background is from the game. I think the 1st time I clicked on it my brain didn’t notice the guitar

This might be a dumb question but does your piano naturally sound this round and echoey or did you add left pedal or post rec effects ? Sound great ! I was waiting for someone to arrange the Tunic soundtrack because it's insanely underrated. I've seen all your covers from the game great work :)
Hi, it’s not a dumb question really. If you look back at my early videos the cinematography was basic and also the audio but making videos has been a learning journey for me so as my arrangements and piano playing has improved I felt I needed to improve my video quality as a whole. So over the years I have got more creative with the audio and visual side of things. So no, my piano does not sound like that in its Raw form…I record my performance on to a midi track and then use a piano sound or VST, mainly I use Spitfire Audio products as they are affordable and I like the sounds of their different pianos. I try to tailor the sound of the pieces depending what style or feel I am going for. I hope this made sense. Thanks for your comment
@@DGPianoUK I ended up learning the whole thing! The section near the end you added fits perfectly with the mood of the piece. I posted my performance of it on my channel, I got a bit nervous near the end and simplified a couple of notes so I hope the spirit of the piece is still there haha. Haha thanks. I always mainly use Spitfire Audio’s pianos now because they are affordable and sound full of character. But yeah in the last 2 tracks I have been experimenting more with the sound. Sometimes blending 2 or 3 piano sounds together.
