Good on you mate!! That one came out awesome Ian.. love the colors and the sky.. I was watching another artist Ian ! He was explaining what he does to stay ahead of that damned paint drying so fast. When hes doing his clouds, he premixes all his colors on his pallet and adds water to them so they stay wet and very blendable . Then he starts painting in his clouds and blends in all his colors at one time. The secret is to only work a small section at a time to keep it wet and blendable. This way you dont have to stop and mix your colors and have the clouds drying in the process. He blended all his colors in the clouds and it really worked great. Also looks awesome because you can mix in a bunch of different colors and shadows to the clouds and makes them look 3 dimensional with clean blended colors mixed in.. just create a small cloud at a time and then add on to it doing the same process.. Before you know it you've got a beautiful sky with big puffy colorful clouds.. Give it a go and see how you like it.. It allows you to do so much more with the clouds using his process of building, and blending.. Just some info I acquired and passing it on to anyone who's interested.. Thanks again Ian for sharing and teaching. I've really learned a lot from you on working with these acrylics.. Love your subjects to paint also. Keep up the great work mate!!👍 😎✌🌞
I've just discovered you Ian and your easy going manner and humour I'm applying my bullsh*t to my canvas 😂 and your cat Steve You both just makes my day and lifts my mood! Did my first painting yesterday using your tutorials it was the best painting I've done. Please let you let me know where you get your big blending brush please,? I don't have FaceBook... love from London UK ❤❤
Hi, I guess by the other comments your first name is Ian? This is the first time I've seen your TH-cam channel. It came up as a suggestion on my TH-cam. At first glance, I literally thought it was a photograph! Very nicely done! Thank you. It looks like you are using 14 different paints? I assume coffee is the one youre drinking and not a paint color? Im not sure cheapest way to buy alot of colors of acrylic paints in U.S. but will look. If anyone has suggestions, that would be great. Thanks Ian. :))
I am a new subscriber and have been binge watching some of your videos and really love your content. I have a question, how would i go about painting a apparition? Thank you:)
i have never done one before but i would think to shape the image in a way you do mist, would need to practice the shapes until you feel you got it right, with anything do heaps of practice.
Thanks Ian. I'm enjoying this tut….while waiting for a test on my heart. I wonder if they'll see it singing. That's how much I love your work.😊
I hope so too
Meu Deus... que coisa mais linda... simplesmente perfeito.
