After you tie the truckers hitch and take the slack back to the bottom of the frame, what knot would you use for that tie-off?
A clove hitch with a half hitch is a goodie.
@martintorner what size rope do you suggest? And should your frame already be in it's correct positon before you tie it off with the two half hitches?

How long do the lines normally need to be as a standard length?
25ft(7.62m) and 50ft(15.24m) are great standard lengths for location work. 75ft(22.86m) and 100ft(30.48m) can be really handy while working on soundstages when rigging from the permanent beams.
