Lee Bailey entitled “Cleared for the Approach.” It details just how stressful and difficult the job of an air traffic controller was at that time. Disliked Reagan and most republicans since then.

Raygun raised my taxes 11 times when he became president. I was just starting out as a new union worker making about $26K/year. While I couldn't get ahead with my taxes increased paycheck after paycheck, I found out at the same time, Raygun had LOWERED taxes on his greedy rich friends from 74% rate down to 27%. That was a recipe for disaster as interests rates grew and so did inflation.

Glad you had a nice thanksgiving. I was with 7 other adults and my 3 grandchildren. Not one person brought up politics. But I wanted to discuss it so badly. I crave it. But it’s so taboo. Instead nobody talked much about anything. It drives me crazy. I think everyone there were dems. I’m pretty sure. But so much effort is made to stay away from it. Makes me nuts! It’s almost like there’s a huge elephant in the room. And if you should even mention something you get the side eye! What’s wrong with a little arguing back and forth? 🤷🏻♀️
