Thanks for this video. This showed up after a day of playing for 3-4 hours, and getting swamped in the last hour. I'm gonna try and put these into practice.
@dreamstrike I normally critique such videos. You really did cover movement very well and acknowledged various non movement aspects that impacted movement and the effectiveness of any decision on which mechanic to use. I hate the videos that just show the movements and great plays and talk about centering as if centering and knowing the techniques is enough.

As a casual player there’s no competing or keeping up anymore with COD. The pace of the game, especially for old timer part timers like myself has evolved to a point where my eyes can’t even keep up with what’s going on the screen, let alone the reaction time that’s needed to survive a gun fight. 😂😂
Funny story. I recently got one of those old school consoles as I was feeling nostalgic. Not gonna lie... That little Italian Plumber game was harder than Warzone full of cheaters. lol
@@DoodlyDawg Yeah, I did used to practice. But I’m not competitive and not a streamer. I just play to have fun. So I binned the game and moved over to GTA Online. Can quite literally just chill out playing that. 👍🏼
Finally someone who mentions Peeker's (you spelled it incorrectly, but w/e) advantage and reaction times and how important it is to actually pre-aim and pre-fire or you lose that advantage. Also, hilarious how 90% the movement tech in the game works really great against controller players, but does almost nothing against MnK players. Yes, I know MnK players are like unicorns, but still.
So many very useful tips. Great video. Small correction at 14:12 though. The headshot multiplier is not huge. I've tested it with many guns and aside from snipers, it usually only reduces the shots to kill by 1-2
Always pick up suppression mines, if you're being chased by an aggressive player you can run around a corner and drop it, it glues them in place, negates all of their movement and messes with their aim, so you can either get some distance to heal or challenge them
Suppression mines don’t typically work against “aggressive” or good players. If the player is any bit of decent, they’re most likely going to be running Flex. They do work very well against mid to low skill players however so they are useful but you won’t really be targeting decent players with them.
I’ll watch other people play with the exact same loadout as me but i am moving a lot slower. Like my character has just ate 35 pancakes, 10 kfc meals and a Big Mac. Jumping into gunfights/sliding almost always lose. I’ll hit my first 2/3 shots but some how lose the fight. I’ll wait and watch kill cam & theyve missed there shots but get me with 50% less shots than me ..
1:58 I actually don't agree with drop shooting close to your enemy. If you're against movement players (which my lobbies always are), don't do it. This is why if you dropshoot right in front of them, they can easily strafe to the right or left or even behind you and because you are proned you won't be able to move your camera fast enough and you won’t be able to flick behind you. That's why I never do this and I only do this when you are far away from someone
I wondered if you could talk about 360’s in close range gun fights. People think it’s unnecessary but after experience it messes up opponents aim assist and tracking completely
