Yeah I did... I didn't see you put it in 2nd gear unless I missed it? I just was curious how fast it is in 2nd gear. I am comparing to the FMS FTX 18, which is pretty zippy in 2nd gear. I'm looking to use it on the trail so I want something with a little zip in 2nd gear. Any chance you can show it off? Thanks! @@daniels_199
Great video! I’m planning to buy this for my first crawler. I know it can only handle 2S Lipo, but beyond that, what kind of batteries can I buy for it? Any specific kind of connector I need?
2ws vs. 4ws and the CR-18 Pro is still a more competent and stable performer than the Furitek. Did you see the Pro tackle that sidehill towards the end - killed it (and thats what a wide stance does for you)! If you run on an indoor course than probably not what you're looking for but as a comp rig, a great way to start in the mini class 👍 Also, being bigger, the Pro is a lot more capabpe outdoors!
That sidehill was the big surprise of all the driving - it was so planted! As we have some indoor comps I will probably still go narrow soon! Also the FX118 are great outdoors!
Yeeha! That's a beast straight out of the box! Just eating the rocks up!
That sidehill in the end!!!!
Can you show us the flat line speed on the Hobbyplus in 2nd gear, and maybe your overall thoughts on each? Thanks!
Have you watched my unboxing? It will be faster as far as I understand 1st gear is like the FX118 gearing!

If this is your first rodeo - the standard 2S batteries that come with it will be perfect for you!
This only handles 2s but the furitek can handle 3s, is that correct? Any idea why that is?@@daniels_199
@davidgoldberg1869 if the FX118 is rated for 3S so is this - but honestly I am not sure if the Venom Motor is rated for 3S
