WOW Senegal is so beautiful and it looks like its on its way to become a middle income country in no-time. Well done my beautiful people. Keep growing, keep developing, keep inspiring. 😍😍
Whoever is prosecuting these Senegal transformations is VISIONARY and really has eyes for beauty. Is it their president macky sall? Or the minister responsible for innovation? Etc? Ghana should be doing these sort of grand projects, building a completely new well planned city, modernizing/replanning Accra, building a sky train, doing a BRT with dedicated lanes, banning plastic etc etc. But...
Senegal development is impressive indeed, yet they are silent about it while going about building a nation not making noises about it or giving their senators 70bn for fixing chairs and table like some giant of Africa.😅l am impressed, Welldone to them.Thank you.
Dakar is an advanced city with morden structures, as people are looking forward for smart cities I believe Senegal is there already, bravo to the city authorities.
It is really true that West Africa is rising! By 2021, West Africa’s gross domestic product (GDP PPP) was $1.714 trillion, despite COVID 19 and the European world war. Five of the countries (Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal), you have highlighted are among seven countries with per capita GDP of $3,000 or more in 2021: Benin, $3,300; Senegal, $3,500; Nigeria, $4,900; Côte d'Ivoire, $5,300; Mauritania, $5,300; Ghana, $5,400; and Cape Verde, $6,100. As of July 2023, there were 448 million people in Western Africa. West Africa is rising!
You're not jealous? 😜You see how BEAUTIFUL the Senegal space looks? The Senegalese have EYES FOR BEAUTY. Not the village stuff we do in Ghana. They're even building a Bus Rapid Transit system with DEDICATED LANES for buses, with buses RUNNING ON ELECTRICITY! And this's a country having only fish and groundnuts. Konadu we're joking in Ghana o. It's sad
@@nanaaddo9110 ahaa. This is exactly what he wanted. If a Senegalese feels strongly about your comment, he also goes off on Ghana and then a feud ensues. These guys have no iota of integrity and sincerity in them. They try to recruit other Africans to join their anti-Ghana idiocy. He saw the Ghana videos oo. When he couldn't criticise how the neighborhoods look, he said Ghana was not only about the areas shown in the video. In other words, he should have been shown slums. Meanwhile, he has far more slums in his sprawling backyard. They tend to think they're doing someone when they engage in this stupid act of self-belittling. Pathetic.

@@MyAfricaView so all your tour has been on bus driving not on plane......so is this your excuse not to show Nigeria's capital city to the world......you are well known that African all know about Lagos but doesn't know anything about Abuja from road and greenry to structure........you can carry on if you are making excuses just to insult nigeria just like everybody who thinks nigeria is just Lagos......
All these developments are nice.. but not priority! Senegal should concentrate on job creation (see the amount of Senegalese taking the dangerous routes in search for greener pastures) not building beautiful structures for attracting tourism only! Affordable housing across the country- not just Dakar should be the focus of the next government! Let the government empower our local businesses and citizens by minimizing imports and building affordable accommodations for the masses.
I so happy for Senegalese people unlike Nigeria where our politicians steal our money and dump it in foreign countries. I am glad to see my fellow west African country doing well ❤

I was in Dakar lately and I love the BRT project all around Sicap, Alle du centenaire, pikine etc...

I'm Ghanaian and I'm also impressed. Ghanaians we'd be making noise all over the place but with little to show for.
Merci bcp

Visit Abuja for god sake......
Bus ticket from Lagos to Abuja is N36k that's if I want to risk the road. Similar distance in Ghana Accra to Tamale cost me about N8k
