I have had the same pair of these for 2 years and i have walked hundreds of miles and ran many more, and they have lasted so long for how much i have beat them up. Great shoe and would really really reccomend it. 9 out of 10 for me
I used to play soccer everyday on blacktop with samba as a kids for hours a days and these would last the whole school year. I always feel some kind of way when people wear these and don't care about footy at all.
Badruz Zaman I wear the originals because they have good arch support and I have bad knees and they are comfortable. Plus I was born in Germany and love adidas.
I wear these everyday! Love them. I do have a wider toe area and just have to relace to fit that but with this shoe I'm always ready to kick the ball around..!

+imran khan The superfly gets a lot of attention because it's a good performer, but, in my opinion, it's the marketing that helps the sales, Ronaldo, Sanchez, Dybala, Vidal, Payet and many more. And Nike has a good reputation too. Even the Hypervenoms, Neymar, Lewandowski, Cavani, almost all of them got modified versions, they don't wear the retail ones.
+imran khan The Purecontrol is very overrated, people think it's better than the other ace models because it has no laces, but it's less responsive and it's not comfortable, you can't adjust the fit of the shoe. You won't feel the padded feel of the primeknit because the upper has to support the cleat.
Those things last I had gotten my first pair when I was in 9th or 10th grade those suckers lasted until my first semester in college for sure one of the best shoes I’ve had I started college in 09 so I’m asking for a new pair for Christmas this year I feel adidas anything is well made and built to last although adidas stuff is pricy but they last quality over quantity
The sole comes out easily, it’s a tacky adhesive but you can peel it back. If the arch support gives you blisters, just remove it from the underside of the sole.
Great review, very thorough. This seems like the best shoe to beat to hell playing on an outdoor cement futsal court. Anything out there better than this?
the samba classic also has arch support but the arch it support is made out of foam which only last about 1-2 months but some sambas with out the flip over tongue won't have any support
I have a pair of these in white with black stripes. Leather upper. Currently, all Black Classics are currently using synthetic NOT leather upper. Unfortunately Adidas advertised it as full leather upper, however the black version IS NOT leather, it's synthetic. If you are satisfied with plastic,/synthetic when advertised as leather upper, the black ones are for you. My white ones made in. 2016 and are leather. My OG's are real leather uppers. Just thought I should clarify that the black Classics are indeed synthetic uppers. If you put a hot paperclip on an obscure the upper, you'll notice that it melts the material. Leather doesn't melt. Thats the acid test. If you find this hard to believe, check it out. I was surprised that Adidas advertised this color/model as leather upper, when it is indeed SYNTHETIC! I'm sure that you weren't aware of this significant inaccuracy.
Best shoe I have ever owned alone with the ‘Circa Vulc 99’ high tops, durable as hell and amazingly comfort with the gel insole. Top quality shoe that isn’t declining in price, for good reason. The Classic all the way, not the OG. The high tongue is actually very useful and it doesn’t rub on your shins.

The sole on the sambas are too rubbery. If you want the best indoor shoe with an incredibly soft K-leather upper, do yourself a favor and take a look at the Joma Top Flex. Incredible shoe at about the same price. Used to find them for $45.
It's not that they obviously don't act as suction cups, because they obviously do, otherwise they wouldn't still be used after all these years. In fact they are suction cups that act as suction cups by providing suction with each cup, you just can't walk on the ceiling with them like inspector gadget, disappointing I know

Unfortunately, although Adidas advertises the current Samba Classic (long tongue shoe) as having all leather uppers, they are now manufactured with synthetic uppers but Adidas refuses to truthfully say so even though I've talked to their US customer service. I dont know about you, but if Im being told that my shoe is leather, I don't think it's acceptable to call synthetic/ plastic material leather. My Samba OG's and Roms ARE leather as advertised, Samba Classic's ARE NOT! Not sure if they list the materials honestly on their non US website. Perhaps they think that Americans are all clueless. Reminds me of the V.W. diesel gate scandal on a smaller scale. Synthetics are fine and 100% acceptable as long as you don't call them leather. That isn't't too big of an expectation is it?

My personal favorite indoor cleat is the Adidas Speziale! I think it's originally a handball shoe, but its so good and durable

I never knew these were made for indoor football/futsal. I use mine for casual use lol. I prefer this one compared to the new knitted samba.
