Inductor they used cos theta = sin 90 -theta.
But in capacitor cos theta = sin 90+theta.
Y we use different formulas for common cos theta.
Y not we use same formula for both
Same doubt for me also
Inductor leh -cosomega t irunthuthu so we used sin90-theta but in capacitor +cosomegat so we used sin90+theta .

Why we use costheta = sin (90 - theta) in AC circuit in pure inductor case and
costheta = sin (90 + theta ) in this case plssss explain sir ?
If you draw the graph for sine and cosine, you will find a phase difference of pi/2 or 90 degrees. so we can mathematically write cos(theta) as sin(90 - theta) or sin(pi/2 - theta). For sin(90 + theta), we have a derivation:
sin(A+B) = sinA.cosB + cosA.sinB
sin(90+x) = sin90.cosx + cos90.sinx
[sin 90 =1 and cos 90 =0]
sin(90+x) = 1.cos(x) + 0 = cosx + 0
sin(90+x) = cos(x)
But why we here using sin (90+theta), cos(theta)can also be written as sin(90-theta)
