Chinese speakers will tell you that the middle part of the song is indeed too fast, and we don't use this kind of speed in normal communication and singing. The reason why this happens is that the lyricist has written too many words in this part, and the singers can't grasp the rhythm of the lyricist, which leads to this kind of fast tempo of speech.

CN feels wistful/soothing, EN feels magical and light, JP feels reminiscent/joyful in my opinion. Have to say I prefer the EN version just because of the lilt.
Same
This is surprising to me.. before listening I actually thought I would like Japanese the most.. and based off comments I’m probably the only one who feels like this but I actually didn’t like the JP ver 😓 even though the lyrics for the JP are by far the best, CN and ENs ver singers have this almost ethereal airy voice that fits the song incredibly well.. whereas JPs while an Incredible singer, had a deeper more rich tone that in my opinion just didn’t fit the song as well.. this is just personal opinion though. She has an incredible voice and the JP lyrics wise are king and by far sound the best lyrically
same here, first time hear in JP and then Eng to CN. Surprisingly CN male voice really make it special compare to other but personally i like EN chorus version better than other EN saved by awesome singer 😂
The Japanese version will be the better version. Because of the lyrics. The the Chinese & English version rushing through the lyrics at some parts sounded like Japanese. But all of the singers are good.
The rushing parts are obviouse made on purpose and it's good.
@@rog4464 Its not good, because you hear nothing when you rush it through. I expect the bias, after all its a CN game & patriotic players will support their stuff. Nowadays there are no real assessment of talent, it's all about which version can milk the market more and that will be the best version.
@@playwelldowell8739 based on you logic, people cannot enjoy songs that are sung in languages that they don't understand?

@@zulhilmimohammadrazin6184 thank you !
Китайцы просто порвали всех. Михое нашли голос ангела для этой песни. Божественно.
CN❤
I thought JP would be the best, but the CH male version gave me goosebumps, too. Aether’s grunts in EN tho. Now that’s the real descender👌 Also, the art style is better than prev animations, not too baby face😂
Is hoyoverse and genshin impact Chinese or Japanese?
Hoyoverse is Chinese, but the title/term "Genshin" is Japanese 🥴
@@jellyfish5545 Chinese?! I had no idea! I always thought Hoyoverse was Japanese with all those esthetics
@@lucasthegamemasterporterfi84 Chinese businessmen saw the opportunity of creating Anime based games because Japanese developers are lazy asf when it comes to localization and global release. With that being said, most of the aesthetics designers are Japanese hired by those Chinese businessmen. Chinese are good with management, but when it comes to artistic taste, Japanese are still way above anyone else in Asia.
@@thebluescaptain What? They were originally game developers not businessman. Their first game bankrupt because they went one time pay. Then switched to gacha and did pretty well. They only developed a business sense from learning on their failure but their strong point had always been in developing games since their first game had also won awards in China. They didn't hire Japanese designers to design their game. They were originally just otaku game developers so they use Japanese aesthetics because they are otakus. Their motto since the beginning has always been Tech Otakus Save the World.
@@question5011 You're too dense, you think businessmen only mean guys in suits with phones on their ear? Lol. Let me educate you a little bit. Businessman is someone who created a financial, operational, and marketing plans/systems to gain profits out of the products they sell.
And yes, Da Wei, the businessman do hire Japanese workers to design their games, though maybe still Chinese majority. Just find it up yourself.
CN
CN version is the best!
This is the first time i didnt like Genshin music, this song so wierd
Edit: Nvm the Chorus is actualy pretty good
where KR version 😢
JP is the best as the lyrics fit. CN and EN lyric just sound weird.
WTFITS
CN is obviously the best since it is the original language of the song. The EN is bad this time. The lyrics are awkward and do not rhyme at all
Yeah, I already thought that as a common melody pattern in CN music when I heard the English version xd
English ver wasn’t that smooth
The original lyric is probably the Japanese one. CN lyric sound really weird. It sound like the lyrics were written by a high school student.
EN singer is amazing, but the lyrics sound like gibberish. I have no idea who they asked to translate this. Even an AI would've done a better job.
I applaud the singer who did good job to cover for that cause if you overlook the lyrics.. like if I don't understand English I would call it a good song.

Thre is no korean? Sadge
ENsinger is better than JP and CN

no Korean ? why
Chinese is the best
Japanese is a bit worse at first
English is the worst
Well it just has to do with the way the translated it cause obviously English is not the smoothest sounding language 😅
i think en very good and make me shiver
@@ardiantodakhi7596 the voice is absolutely on top, the lyrics are just a bit off imo after like the first 30 seconds, like they try to pack so many words into 2 chords
People be like some of the chinese lines are too rushed:
Chinese speakers are also just fast as shit when they're talking normally so tbh- its not that fast >.
True, and they're all good..I like CN the most
Eh? I read the ENG is rushed? So is everyone just saying the lines is rushed in general or what? I thought it was intentional.... Sound the same across the language in my ears
@@Mrs.ragnvindr31 same, I think they intentionally wanted the song to be in this direction...a style probably, kinda like a rap
...speaking of rap, we could enjoy a rap without knowing what it's about.
@@tbdlol too true friend, too true
Chinese speakers will tell you that the middle part of the song is indeed too fast, and we don't use this kind of speed in normal communication and singing. The reason why this happens is that the lyricist has written too many words in this part, and the singers can't grasp the rhythm of the lyricist, which leads to this kind of fast tempo of speech.
CN version is the best!
