Hey man, I watched your fistweaver guide from a few days ago or something. I was doing keys all season, and I wanted to try some pvp. I am laughably bad at PVP, and I was absolutely unkillable whilst fistweaving thanks to your guide (and how beefy MW is). Thanks man!
Very helpful guide. Thank you! I just picked up MW after being a resto shaman main. I love it so far. I have a question however. In dungeons I play fistweaving (which mad me fall in love with Monk) so I have to use my rising sun kick, blackout etc. I was missing these in your guide. Does this mean that in BGs using this healing type we don't dmg the enemy, only stand behind and heal? Can you please advise how to weave in these damaging spells? Or we do not use them at all? Thanks a lot!
Hi!! So in PvP Mistweaver has very little damage. The only time it’s ever worth to put in to do damage is when an enemy is in Touch of Desth range. Chi Wave is now cast when you vivify, so you don’t have to press that. The only other damage, like Rising Sun Kick, is when you want to kill Shaman totems if you are close enough to them. There are times when I’m playing with a Warlock where I will stay close to an enemy shaman so I can quickly kill Tremor and let my Warlock fear. Outside of those scenarios, the damage from caster Mistweaver is too low to even try to do it. If you Fistweave, you will definitely do more damage and I have a video coming for that! I hope this helps and let me know if you have anymore questions!
For the flagcarrier build: Why not get Windwalking? 4% speed for both you and any escort seems valuable, couldnt you swap out something like Peace and Prosperity?
@@MysticallTheMonk Tell me how it goes :) Trying out mistweaver for the first time, figured battleground blitz might be a good time to get back into some PvP on the side, and use something I wouldnt play in PvE so I can setup keybinds without comprimising, so take my suggestion with a grain of salt!
Did you say anything about Mana Tea (huge topic), Mystic Touch (and the synergy with Chi Wave), and Chi Torpedo's movement speed increase and the importance of not overlapping it? You say that you don't use OmniCD that much for RBGs, but unless you are the best mathematician out there it will be very hard to track every important defensive cooldown your teammates have, for example Divine Shield, Dispersion, Deterrence, Netherwalk etc. - especially for you to know if you have to use Cocoon or not. Personally, I believe OmniCD is, besides BigDebuffs and BGE, the most important addon for RBGs/Blitz.
I’m pretty sure I mentioned Mana Tea and Mystic Touch is pretty passive with how Chi Wave was changed. And yeah, I don’t really track cooldowns with OmniCD because I can’t get it to work in RBGs. Realistically, I just shout out in Discord if someone needs to use a defensive if I don’t have any left
@@MysticallTheMonk Personally, I find it rather bad when healers tell dps in discord that they should use a (or rather any) CD because DPS will get mostly confused. In my honest opinion, the best healer will tell the DPS what cooldown he wants him to use at a certain moment, for example: "Dispersion!", or "Ret, my cocoon before your bubble!" or "Netherwalk, Netherwalk!" or "Save block I got cocoon!". I have gotten overwhelmingly positive feedback by dps players when I call out the defensive cooldowns I want them to use at a certain moment because I get the exact cooldown by them that I want and there is 0 confusion on their part. That is why OmniCD is so important in RBGs (with coms), and mandatory in RBGs/Blitz without coms.
I have a question Playing caster mw in bgs. My mana is struggling so hard! Sometimes I end up spamming vivify and env. But god I do drain fast! Can you make a guide how to manage your mana the best way? 😊
You definitely can! I will normally try to Fistweave in BGB on maps like Silvershard Mines, Battle for Glinda’s, anything with a long team fight. Be careful against comps with a lot of melee because they can swap to you pretty easily when you’re fistweaving

you just cant stand in meelerange cause ur getting CCed so hard... Range Mistweaver is the only option u have for RBG/BG Blitz

What hero talents are you running for flag carry? Also what’s the purpose of those hero talents you use?
