I love how this was a short story, I loved every single minute of it. It's giving me Cinderella vibes, with the magic fairy and beautiful dress and everything else. Lila was definitely like Cinderella, being shunned by her, I think it's her so-called friends or stepsisters, IDK. If I'm being honest, she's more beautiful than the other girls. And she's way better than them as well. She even got the chance to dance with the Duke himself while the other girls watched. I wish Lila and the Duke a happily ever after. Alaric was definitely not like any other Dukes in other stories. He's wanting a lady that's more appealing and down-to-earth like him. That's when he walked outside and saw Lila dancing that made him entranced by her. He loves her personality, beauty and kindness. When he saw that she wasn't like the others, he knew that he had to have her. I wish them all the happiness in the world.
