This video is about Plato's theory of communism. To make athens an ideal state plato first emphasised on marking it a just state, for this he gave theory of justice in his book The Republic. This theory aimed at dividing society in 3 classes. In this system there was a problem that guardian class was most powerful and they may turn corrupt if their trait of appetite become dominant in any situation. To tackle this, plato gave theory of communism where he talked about a different lifestyle of guardian class where they won't have private property, family or wives. In this video we have also discussed comparison between Plato's communism and communism of karl Marx(modern communism) and we have also covered criticism of Plato's communism by Aristotle.
