Great report. Jet2 showing how its done again. Love to order an inflight meal on a shorthaul flight too. Brings a bit of a blast from the past. Plus they have a decent cafe onboard too.
Great video. Mallorca is my favorite island and say this having been around the world many times. Also like the A321 neo, always prefered the A 320 family to the 737.
That interior looks AWESOME! Last year i flew with Jet2 for the first time on their 737. This A321 though looks amazing! It really gives off holiday vibes, hope i can go on this plane once.

I love Jet2..I've flown with them many times on the 738, 757 and A332 and the legroom was always great compared to other airlines..The curved back of the seats gives great legroom space

Flew on the Jet2 A321neo today and sat in row 29 (which is 2x2 Vs 3x3 to allow for swing of emergency door). I have to report that these seats are significantly narrower than the rest of the seats in the aircraft by some 1-2 inches which makes for a rather uncomfortable journey unless you are a child. Because of these narrower seats it means you are misaligned to the tray table in front also. Never again. This needs to be reported more widely.
It’s great going with jet2 , flown with em many many times never a problem and great staff when booking on the phone , at check in on the flight and on arrival on the coach and the reps at the hotels , they don’t even charge for a flight on a vintage 757 from the 80s couldn’t ask for more

i do like the a320neo series i flew on a easyjet A321neo from gatwick last year to Kefalonia . Will be flying again with jet2 in july to cyprus from there new hub from march Liverpool 🙂

No problems with jet 2 when I have traveled with them only issue for me is the hard seats after a couple of hours i get back ache and can't wait to get off
There doesn’t seem to be anywhere in the back of the seat in front to store your own items? Somewhere to tuck your phone, iPad, headphones, book etc whilst eating with the tray down? There is on easyJet A321s - an expandable net pocket for the literature and your own is all items. Great report though, thank you! I’m about to fly with Jet2 shortly instead of easyJet for the first time in many years.

Beautiful sunny weather. Yes strange that there is no middle of the market plane. Although a certain A320 variant is closer than the 737 variant, also because the MAX10 isn't certified yet..

Really hight pitch sound those LEAP( i think) engines produce. Do you notice this as bad as a passenger. I didn’t notice any thrust reduction for climb either? - fantastic video my friend a new subscriber right here!
Yeah, these new-gen engines produce a much more high-pitched sound. I prefer the old ones sound... but I got used to this... I must say that on the plane doesn't sound so loud as on the video.
I love your videos, the superb outside views, interesting comments, questions and information. However, in spite of your best efforts, I am failing to learns Spanish! I must be the worst language student in the world!
One thing to say the trend towards European airlines going to Airbus was from way before the 737 Max issues. easyJet made the transition in 2002, Wizz Air has always been airbus. Also there is no other replacement for the 757 than the 321 Neo as Boeing closed down 757 production. This means the charter carriers are being pushed towards Airbus because there is no viable other option.
Well, in my opinion, from a training and maintenance point of view, the B737MAX made more sense for Jet2 for example. But yeah, you're correct that Airbus offers more options nowadays.
Jet2 is awesome and what a nice new plane. Love the video! ❤Worked on much older A321’s but the neo looks amazing. Senior crew member likes the sound of her own voice though. She shouldn’t really have been doing landing PA’s so close to the ground - bad cabin prep there and non-essential requests, such as where to place the safety information card to reduce the workload of the team isn’t Pax concern, nor is it standard Jet2 procedure to ask pax to do that 🙄 It would have been better if she were doing her silent review in order to assess evacuation procedures at a critical point of the flight instead.

Am on holiday right now in Skiathos and the airline jet2 was amazing but the landing was a ruff
Skiathos is a short runway. The pilots must put the plane on the runway with no delay. Minimum flare always.
I must say, I like the short haul way more than the long haul videos. Still waiting for a new train adventure though.... ;-)
For me the long-haul ones are much more exciting. I planned to start doing them in 2020... but we all know what happen back 3 years ago :D

There were works on the apron in front of the plane. I think there was no space for the stairs and the buses.

One thing to say the trend towards European airlines going to Airbus was from way before the 737 Max issues. easyJet made the transition in 2002, Wizz Air has always been airbus. Also there is no other replacement for the 757 than the 321 Neo as Boeing closed down 757 production. This means the charter carriers are being pushed towards Airbus because there is no viable other option.
Well, in my opinion, from a training and maintenance point of view, the B737MAX made more sense for Jet2 for example. But yeah, you're correct that Airbus offers more options nowadays.

Jet2 is awesome and what a nice new plane. Love the video! ❤Worked on much older A321’s but the neo looks amazing. Senior crew member likes the sound of her own voice though. She shouldn’t really have been doing landing PA’s so close to the ground - bad cabin prep there and non-essential requests, such as where to place the safety information card to reduce the workload of the team isn’t Pax concern, nor is it standard Jet2 procedure to ask pax to do that 🙄 It would have been better if she were doing her silent review in order to assess evacuation procedures at a critical point of the flight instead.

I have flown the Boeing 737 Max several time and must admit been very nervous on all those flights. I will avoid Max flights in the future.
TUI and Ryanair both fly the MAX and have impeccable safety records. I flew on the MAX and its far more comfortable than the NEO.
