- My restoration 240sx needs a rust-free quarter panel since the one I had was too rusty. So I take a trip down to Tennessee to trade for a rust-free one. Is the Nissan G35 the new cheap S13 drift car? Josh shows us his project car with a Q60 engine swap and many Z34 parts.

Ryan's Honda CRX build is not only 2000s period correct, but still fits in with today's car culture. His B20 swap, big brake, custom tail light CRX has become an iconic staple in the local car scene. I've never seen a JDM RHD Honda Odyssey before, but now I want one haha. The full mugen kit completes this JDM van.
I spent the last 7 years building this 1990 Nissan 240sx from the ground up by myself. I swapped out the KA24e for a KA24de. Then once more for an RB25det out of an R34 Skyline and couldn't be happier. I have also converted the 240 to a right hand drive, (which ended up saving my life!) After installing a few drift parts; such as a hydro E - Brake, dual rear calipers, welded diff, solid suspension bushings, and more, the car handled amazingly. Surprisingly this S13 was able to drift and stay sideways perfectly despite the damage that was done to it.

On the plus side, the trip to get it allowed you and Fran to meet so many nice car people. I like how genuine and down-to-earth they were.
Some of these cars may be more affordable now, but I'm dreading the day they are going for what S13 and S14 are going for now.
I wouldn't mind getting an Odyssey myself (maybe the Isuzu Oasis version just because it's odd/rare/different).

That first gen Odyssey with the Mugen kit was lookin pretty good! I've actually auto manual swapped 2 first gens for a local guy in the past year. They're starting to grow on me, especially seeing this one with the Mugen kit!
Woahhh how was the manual swap on it? I was honestly thinking about how that would work
@@PrizzaMike overall, it's not too hateful. Definitely a learning curve though. It's much easier if it's on a pre 98 model as well. The wiring is more difficult to figure out on the 98-99 due to the completely different speed sensor setup and literally NO information to be found anywhere on doing it. If you'd ever decide to do one, I could definitely help you out with it.

Haha, I was actually going to comment in a previous video that you should get a Honda Odyssey for a "work truck". You can get them dirty cheap and if they're the 4 cylinder like your friends, a 30k JDM motor is also cheap af. Take the rear and middle seats out and you get crazy room and you can camp in it on road trips!
