Not to be rude but thats shen yuan not shen jiu as evidenced when kid says this game shen yuan has the thought "is he like me?" Referencing his transmigration into pidw and his becoming of shen qingqiu. Sorry for tangent i just hate when people mistake the two as there very diffrent charcters

I call the original shen qingqiu shen qingqiu to differentiate them I know they're different people and I could tell it was shen yuan I just refer to them that way cause it makes more sense to me.

And now that he has finally realized after thousands if not ten thousands of tries is that its hopeless and he almost completely abandoned who he was, hence his numbness.
