Relax you just have to go with the flow of the Arabic. Its rhythmic poetry, in the Quran Allah said that he made the Quran to be easily memorize able for anyone that tries.(Quran, 54:17 For reference).

Hi, I thought I should mention that, although Salah type of prayer is structured, Dua type of prayer is not structured. and when people mostly use the english word prayer, they refer to the Dua in islam. Salah also has an element of meditation added.

It made me rethink my salah actually, seeing it hard on others and finding it so easy to me made me rethink to not take it for granted, it is something important and essential in our lives that it should be done every time as a first and last time to see it as precious as it is , he did something amazing by accepting and loving it without refusing it for no reason, i love this video.

For research purposes, come along to the local masjid at any of the Salat times and check out how its done. You can stand in line with the brothers and copy. Keep eyes open as you can see the brothers next to you to know when to get up. Be sure to ask for advice/pointers. Maghrib (Sunset) and Isha (starts 1h30m after Maghrib) are good times to come as people are off work/school and around for longer between the two.

I remember how I felt after I became a revert, knowing I had to learn the prayers. Subhanallah I made it harder on myself than it had to be. My advice is don’t overthink it. Allah swt sees your intentions and it will take time. It will become second nature, I promise. Salam

When you do salah it feels like the most natural thing to do in the world ..like we're born to do it .. I was teaching my young students that I was tutoring the salah since they had a lesson about it , it's wonderful seeing others learning it ^^

What a tremendous effort you put into it! I never saw or heard of that prayer matt. Very interesting and educational.
Don't lose heart, keep it going until you become a pro. I believe that the difficulty lies in the language barrier. Once you learn the basics, it'll become just routine. Actually, in your Salat you can use just the shortest Surats and repeat them in every Salat. Memorizing them can be easily achieved through listening and repetition (on TH-cam). Just ask and Muslims will be happy to help. May God guide you towards the straight path.

Your so funny l really love the way you try. It is hard at the beginning, but you get used to it, and when you also engage your heart, it is priceless. When you stand in prayer you are remembering God like the trees, and when you bow, it is symbolic of the animals, and when you prostrate, it is symbolically the insects. This is how the prayer is wholistic, connecting the physical with the spiritual.
Remembering God like the trees? When bow like animals and prostrate like insects? I'm not sure anyone got you, especially new comers? Why do we need to symbolize animals when He has created us as us to function as human and worship Him as human. Wonder where you got this teaching from.
