In November 2020 I participated in the art event Kunstmaand Ameland. The island, which is part of UNESCO world heritage site Wadden has a rich history. Each year artists from all over the region Germany/Scandinavia come together to celebrate their work with an audience. In 2020 the event was held mostly online due to Covid19 regulations. I was booked for a residence, which luckily could take place. I roamed the island looking for interesting sites and subjects sketching with my video and photo cameras.

To emphasise the lost, hidden, empty atmosphere that was present on the island I used music created by Oene van Geel.
