Bella Davidovich was her prime from 1948 to 1975.She probably has played this even better before.But i like the piano sound of Davidovich in this Chopin 1 concerto

Davidovich is superb...she plays some of the most beautiful Chopin I've ever heard! Warm, sensitive, beautiful tone, impeccable technique, elegant, aristocratic! Recorded sound here is quite good, sounds like a fairly recent stereo recording...can't find name of conductor or orchestra here, could this be the LSO under Marriner?
She is certainly the ONE. Her interpretation is head and shoulders above others. Can you please upload the 3rd and 4th parts so that I can download them in the US - the first two parts work but not the last 2.

I've had the LP of this for many years, and it's still one of my very favorite performances of this concerto.
