God is Love / Steps to Christ for Kids : Chapter 1

Our heavenly Father is the source of life, of wisdom and of joy. We see His love through the beautiful nature that He created. The sunshine and the rain, the mountains and the plains, the flowers and grasses, the lovely birds that sing, all speaks to us of the love of God.
We must obey God and keep His commandments because He loves us and knows the best for us. Satan always tries to tempt us and make us disobedient he has always tried to get us to believe that God cannot be trusted but no! That is not true at all. God does not leave us alone.
We can see God’s love written on all that he created. Here are three pictures where God reveals His love to us:
1. through His creation,
2. through the Bible and
3. through His son
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1 John 4:7,8
