    You should do more tutorials - you are excellent. You and Cliftonwp are the very best Kadence tutors by far on TH-cam. I really enjoyed and learnt from your video.

    Thank you, good explanation, right pace and level of difficulty for me. And a good voice. It's great that you can build the website at the same time, using the photos. I'm still busy but thank you in advance before I forget. Greetings from the Netherlands.

    Awesome Really Appreciated but I have an opinion that's why using Elementor if I have a Kadence theme any properties in Elementor I can't get with Kadence?

    • @CliftonWP
      @CliftonWP  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Happy Tech. There is very little that you can do in Elementor that can't be done in Kadence. All the important and critical things in web design can be done in Kadence. The main thing is really how you go about doing it. Overall, Kadence is very solid for building any kind of website and is ahead of the curve when it comes to website creation in WordPress. If there is something specific that you want to know about in Kadence that you are doing in Elementor, let me know and I'll see if I can help. Thanks for watching!

    Well done video and great tutorial.
    For some reason, i follow your video without skipping anything, I could not add "Our Specialty is Good Food" below spacer.
    1. create 2 row column: 1 section for image and another for spacer & text( inside this section I create 2 more row column: 1 for spacer and another for EAT AND BE SERVED SAFELY"
    then I wrapped those 2 row column for vertical align spacer and text. Then I try i add "Our Specialty is Good Food" inside the last row column, it does not line up below spacer and text. It just want to stay below"EAT AND BE SERVED SAFELY" only. If you could, what do you think I did wrong. I watched the video and tried to follow exactly you did so many time but unsucessfull.
    Thanks

    • @CliftonWP
      @CliftonWP  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, Ted! I see the issue. Make sure that you are adding the "Our Specialty is Good Food" outside and below the 2 column row where you have the small text and spacer/divider. Use the List View to make sure you are outside the row.

      Thank you! The images are the same width and height originally.You can edit your images to be the same size using photoshop or pixlr.com which is free. 🙂

    What was your learning path in regards to WP?

    • @CliftonWP
      @CliftonWP  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! I started with WP in 2006. Prior to that, I built websites with traditional HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP. Initially, I started with platforms like Headway, Revolution, and the Genesis Framework and have worked with several page builders. and currently enjoying Gutenberg and KadenceWP.

    Can we do this in FSE?

    • @CliftonWP
      @CliftonWP  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To an extent, yes, but not fully. Standard Gutenberg blocks simply does not have as much functionality as Kadence Blocks. Also the page template feature in 5.9 FSE is still in beta with limited functionality. :-)

    Whenever I set the homepage to use a static page, the page title always shows above the design. How to remove this annoying issue?

    • @CliftonWP
      @CliftonWP  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mariantisina! Thanks for watching. In the editing view of the page on the top right, click on the page settings icon. It is in between the cogwheel icon and the Kadence icon that looks like a letter "K". In those settings you will see the option to disable the title of the page. Select it and the page title will no longer be visible on the front end. I hope that helps!

    It's one of the best tutorials except when you get to saving reusable blocks, you didn't explain how dangerous is messing with these, I don't know what I did, but I lost the hero block all across, and it looks like I have to redo it from the beginning again. You should've gone a little deeper with these and explain how they work a little better. I will certainly not use this feature if it is this easy to lose your work.

    • @CliftonWP
      @CliftonWP  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for your feedback and I really appreciate you watching! I explain the impact and proper use of the reusable blocks starting here at 1:54:20 and how to edit them so you don't lose your work. Just remember to convert your reusable blocks to regular blocks and you won't lose anything you've built. I cover this in detail starting at 1:54:20 of the tutorial. Thanks again for your feedback and if I can help further, just let me know!

      @@CliftonWP I was aware of that and I still messed up, I can't remember what I did. For example, I have problem with the menu tabs also that section it's not showing up even though I have it in the editing page, I'm totally confused because it doesn't make any sense.
