    This is so relaxing! Is it just me or do I always prefer more nature and rustic builds other than modern builds? It looks very good!

      Yeah, I really want to explore an ancient city, but I don't think it would be a very relaxing thing to do in a longplay. The deep dark looks so cool! :)

    That may be your nicest pond yet. All it needs are a few axolotl to liven it up. The cherry tree grove is so pretty a place to build; makes me wish I could walk in one for real. Maybe sometime in the future I can go to Japan when the cherry trees bloom; I'd like to see that even though I know it would be unbearably crowded. Have you been able to do much traveling, Lelith? Where would you like to go if you could?

    • @lelithlongplays
      @lelithlongplays  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much Paul! :D I love cherry blossoms. You should definitely try to visit Japan one day. Cherry blossom season can be really crowded, but there are always less busy places if you're willing to go off the beaten track, or get up super early in the morning! XD I used to live in Japan, so I was pretty lucky with seeing cherry blossoms. There was even a beautiful path in walking distance of where I lived that had cherry blossom trees running along one side for what seemed like miles. It was almost always deserted and I could just wander along enjoying the pale, fluffy clouds of blossom.

      That sounds incredible; I had no idea. Do you mind if I ask what area of Japan you were in? I have a particular interest in Kyoto myself. I may or may not be slightly jealous of you. I did once have a Japanese flowering cherry once but it was too large to take when I moved... I tried to take cuttings from it but they never made it longer than a month. You are very fortunate to be able to have experienced such a beautiful sight!

      It was wonderful! If I hadn't missed my family so much I would have stayed. All in all it's worked out though, I can always go back for a visit!
      I lived in Fukushima Prefecture first, and then Aichi Prefecture later. I did a little travelling around while there and when on holiday. It's a beautiful country to travel around and there's so much to see.
      Kyoto is definitely a must visit. Fushimi Inari in the early morning before it is too busy feels so magical. The trails go further than I thought at first look and you can find lots of quiet spots higher up the mountain. It can be a tough walk though, depending on how fit you are and how hot it is! I love the rural areas of Japan a lot. On my last trip I walked part of the Nakasendo trail and it is one of my best memories of Japan. If you do go to Kyoto I recommend visiting Nara. It has a similar feel to Kyoto but smaller and with friendly deer. I want to spend a little more time there on my next visit, I've only been for day trips before. What parts of Kyoto would you most like to visit?
      I've always wanted a Japanese flowering cherry in my garden, I wish I had space for one!

      I admit that I hadn't really given much thought to specific areas of Kyoto I want to visit. I just liked what I had heard about it in general; that the architecture favored the older Japanese style and that it had a lot of picturesque views and places to walk. I heard that it's especially lovely in autumn, and it's best to come then as it's much cooler. If I was going to hike some trails I'd definitely do it after summer is through. I won't lie, I'm not in perfect shape but I do try to walk a few miles in the woods at least every week or two whenever weather permits. I had heard of Nara and its deer, and that might be nice to check out. It sounds like I'd do well asking you to recommend an itinerary if I ever got the money to go; you are certainly more knowledgeable than I am in this regard. In fact you seem to be more knowledgeable about many topics than I would have expected a Minecraft youtuber to be. I guess I should learn a lesson about making assumptions, shouldn't i?

      Hi. No, I don't. I build the whole building in the video though, so you should be able to see it from all angles if you really want to build it exactly. Send me a message if you get stuck and I'll see if I can help. :)
