Good morning dear, thanks for the amazing tutorial. Pls let me ask, can I still do this back adjustment if I drafted using bust dart technique where the back piece is usually shorter than the front.
God bless you for your teachings. My question is this. What if I’m making a princess dart bustier for a gown. And I need to put zipper, how do I go about it considering that there will be half cut for my gown if I aim at this sway back method of eliminating zipper bulge
You can make the adjustment on the half bodice for the back before slashing into pieces for your princess dart. OR simply use accurate length measurement for the front bodice and back bodice (front bodice is longer than the back because of the bust) and then put in a side dart on the front bodice to correct the length difference. This second method doesn’t need a sway back manipulation.
Thank you so much
My own zip budge often happens around the back where my hip/buttocks are. Does this method still apply in fixing it? How do I fix this, please?

Thank you..is the one inch used to any size of measurements??reply please ❤
Yes it is🤍
Is it possible to go up by 1 inch on the waist instead of 1 inch down on the waist?
Yes you can
Can this be applied to a full gown?
I don't want half length on the gown
Yes
Hi thanks for this tutorial, your zipper allowance was 1.5 and later on you cut out like half inch by slanting, right?….please reply
Yes you’re correct
Thank you so much ❤
❤❤ very good ...
My sis...
From sri lanka ..
Good teacher . Thank you.
Please does this also work for bulging at the hip side not waist.
No Ma’am
Does this method apply to dress with half length
Yes it does
Pls what type of lining did you use for this fabric
I used the same fabric as the facing for the neck. It doesn’t have a lining.
I usually use the 1/2inch method but I must confess.. I love this and will try it out
You should!
Thank you 😊
Please what if you are not using a pattern paper
You can do the normal going in by half an inch at the waist part of the zipper area.
Please we need a tutorial on zip bulge for half length top n skirt when joining them together
Hi, I already explained that in the video
Please did the length get short at d centre back hem? Mine did
No, it didn’t. Did you take your side dart on your front pattern? (Your side dart is the difference between the shoulder to waist for front and back).
I will try this sway back method
Thank you so much ma God bless you
Please show the front side of the go n
What if we are cutting directly on the fabric?
Hi, this method cannot be worked on directly on fabric. You have to use a pattern block or pattern paper.
روعه معلومه جيده🌷⚘
Thanks for this
thanks a lot sis. now one decides doing the both adjustment, that is going in by the waist side and doing your method too. will it work?
I have actually seen some designers do the both. And it works very well.
thanks@@goodiesewfun
Ma'am how do I remove the zib bulge when I am cutting with a pattern paper?
Hi, do you mean without pattern paper? You can only achieve this with pattern paper
Yes if we are not using pattern
But hope the back length wouldn't suddenly be shorter than the front
No it wouldn’t
Thanks ❤️
