      Mean 9 or 9'".................

    Voltage is directly proportional to Number of turns,
    If we want to increase the voltage at secondary side , then we have to increase the no. of turns by changing tap position, or if we want to decrease the voltage at secondary side then we have to reduce the number of turns at primary side by changing the tap position,
    But here in this vedio you explained that to increase the voltage at secondary side, we have to reduce the number of turns at primary side by changing the tap position from Tap #1 to Tap#4
    Kindly explain it ,

    Good video.. thanks for clearing doubts... We are having MR make oltc which is installed on tertiary winding buck boost.. in that they are not using reactor coil... They are using resistors & vaccume bottle ... So in that case how the current changes...
    Also if possible make a video..

      At high power transmission substation conditions are quit balance then the the end distribution point.
      that's why at end distribution point we do not prefer tap changing transformer.
