I thoroughly enjoyed the TH-cam video! It was very practical on how to effectively use videoconference platforms in my personal and business worlds!

Great to hear! Be sure to catch the next episode on lighting. I'm really excited about it because it is one of the most impactful aspects of good presentation--and it can be done with inexpensive table lamps you probably already have around your home/office!

Excellent advice. Even if I don't choose to upgrade camera and microphone, the lighting and camera angle recommendations are most helpful.

Awesome video! I enjoy meeting people for work in person but demands are getting bigger for virtual meets as well. Guess I will have to upskill now. Will checkout your other videos. Thanks again.

Very helpful but why don’t you show where the camera is placed instead of just saying you raise your camera up and where the actual placement of the camera so that you’re not looking up and down from camera to laptop screen. Every one of these videos shows nothing about where the actual camera is placed so you’re not looking at the monitor. But you just keep it on your face. So I have no idea what you mean by just raise the camera up. How up? Thank you

Thanks for watching! The height adjustment will depend on how tall the user is, seating position, etc. My advice is to sit up straight, look straight ahead, and then adjust your camera height while looking at your camera output on-screen. Adjust until you appear to be looking straight into the camera when you are looking forward. To give you some ideas of how this looks with my setup, you can look at the second video in this series at at about 6m 15s (th-cam.com/video/gKqadYO7NGk/w-d-xo.html) or the third video in the series at about 5m 35s (th-cam.com/video/wH-4PtOwsXo/w-d-xo.html). Let me know if you need any further advice!
