It's really good to see the little bits of body change with moving shoulders etc and what a difference it makes conveying to the horse a change of direction, you both did really well 🎉x

Flat work lesson super and proves the point that if the nose is behind the vertical then the horse cannot use it's back and truly work uphill....nose has to be in front of vertical at all times...whether working or stretching

Goodness gracious images of an Emily in mauve and pink Victorian attire on her very fine, forward flowing glowing mare!! That was fabulous and fun watching you wheelbarrowing her around the boards!! 😄🤣🤣 I hope Cameron saw that 😁❤️❤️🥰

Great to see the change in Addie during the dressage lesson. She looked like a prancing pony ❤
She was very brave during the cross country, it was like Yippee Mum, lets go!!!! 😅
    Looking great ❤

I have to get this out of my system. When you donned your fushia air vest, I imagined the woolly pads (nose and shoulder) in the same color!. It could be because I am a garish American, but cross country allows color and I thought matching colors would be so cute! Love watching you and Addie.

You can see the maturity in Addy now during her dressage lesson. She's so enthusiastic XC which is a joy to watch. Just needs to fine tune things a bit. Great vlog......including the inflating vest 😅.

This compared to your dressage with piggy, what a transformation! I have 4yr old buckskin mare and I get similar comments about not treating her like a baby and having more expectations etc.. glad it’s not just me! 😅 x

Hi lovely ladies. Do you ever think/wonder about others who don't have the support you girlies do? You are there for each other near and far. I'm trying to find my words but not coming. Stay safe and well. Ponies too of course.

It may seem that it has come easy to the girls but they have put the work in, have great friends and family and support each other. That is what friends are for. If you don't have that support, make the most of what you have got. It's the relationship between horse and rider that is worth the most, not sponsorships. Opportunities don't fall in your lap, you must go and get them.

Wow. What a wonderful dressage lesson, she was really in tune with your pony which is so helpful. Very interesting about raising your hands off the neck. I have seen that so many times and I do believe that it does isolate your hands from your body which you do need in dressage. And yes it is hard work to begin with but as a rider it is really important to be skilled to isolate all areas of the body for both strength and balance and that can be achieved out of the saddle.
But boy oh boy, didn’t your pony respond well - literally immediately.
Do you remember (I think it was Lucinda) telling you to stop consistently “nagging” at your horse to move away from your leg? I be am not sure in this lesson if you were aware but as your pony got tired that habit became absolutely consistent. Maybe your pony isn’t fit enough or gets bored, I couldn’t know. Plus. You are constantly clucking at the pony to move forward which was also picked up on. You cannot do that in a competition so why do it in training, the pony is not 4 years old.
But just seeing that huge change in what was virtually minutes - wow. Looks like you’re going to have a great season. 😃. Go girl go. 👏👏

      Whose paying you for this?

  • @Carroty_Peg

Poor horse throwing her head around, I'm sure a human would be uncomfortable if our mouth was tied shut with a grackle noseband, we couldn't look up because a martingale restricted our movement and we were in pain because a large piece of metal sat in our mouth that was pulled the whole time. I defy you to do this and be comfortable.

Blah blah blah. Watch another channel and take your negativity with you. ‘Em works very well hard and horses are very well cared for and sympathetically trained
