- Welcome to my craft space. I recently moved house and finally have my own scraping desk and area, have a look at my organisation tricks including my project life card organisation and Ikea Raskog trolley storage solutions.

Your video inspired me to stop wasting time digging around in each core kit box looking for the perfect card and to sort my cards by colour so the first thing I did this morning was to go to Bunnings and buy those containers. They turned out to be a lot cheaper than I expected! I've just rewatched your video to copy your categories and look forward to finally being able to find the cards I want for my PL layouts. Thank you!! :)

I spy Minecraft! If I wasn't so stuck on not breaking up kits I would love to organize my cards in categories like that. Really helps it seems if you're looking for something specific. Tfs! Love room tours :)

ah, I so wish that I had a craft space of my own so that I could organize things into cute containers instead of having to pack them all down every time I use them 😔 but no can do in a small apartment... love what you've done with your space and your storage solutions!

Hello Inkie Quill. I am also an AUSSIE, living in Mount Gambier South Australia. I love the way you have set up your craft space. Even in a small area, it looks very well set up. Sadly, I use my kitchen table as my craft area and its the pits when I have to remove my craft when I have guests over for dinner. I would dearly love to have a room just for crafting, but as I am only renting my place its not meant to be.

Hahahaha I know!! I'm so lame :P but seriously why have the scrapbook world dissed purple so much?! Is like "the-colour-who-shall-not-be-named" it's the Voldemort of scrapbooking colours :P x

OMG, this is awesome! You have a lot of project life cards, amazing! Wish here in Brasil they were not so expensive, i wanna as much as you have!
A tip: watch movies on flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.

I'm totally loving the containers you store all your project life cards in...I need that, but just can't seem to find it anywhere, Ive googled them but no luck just the smaller version pop up. I will continue my search I'm not giving up...gotta have! them! thanks for sharing! ;0)
I just saw someone went into Bunnings and found them! They weren't listed on their website but we're in store, may be a less available container? Hope you can find them!

love your space, thanks for sharing... how did you brave splitting up the kits? I'm a by colour scrapper and I know I really should split up my cards, but I'm too scared.. hahaha. Also, the containers from bunnings, would they also fit a 4 x 6 on the side? Or are the bins too short? TIA - have a great day.
Thanks Chelle, lol it did take me a while to brave colour sorting! Glad I did now though!! The bunnings containers wouldn't fit 4x6 unfortunately, they're just too tall by a fraction. Glad you enjoyed the vid, thanks for watching!
Just came across your channel last night and have to tell you I love your style. Couple ??'s--you say you sort your PL cards by color--what about the picture/saying/design on the opposite side? Do you just make your decision that you like 1 side better than the other and go with that? (I would have such a difficult time). Also, where did you get the container(s) that you store your 3x4 PL in? Those look perfect. Thanks for sharing your videos!

Love the organisation for the project life cards. I have about 7 main core kits as our spotlight was selling them of too cheap to resist :) just wondering did your boxes from Bunnings hold your 4x6 cards or just the smaller ones? TFS
Thanks Jenny! I got all three orange and black segmented containers from Bunnings - the embellishment one and two PL cards ones. I also picked up the white caddy for my 4x6" there too, it's a great size for the cards and fits perfectly in my raskog! It can also fit 3x4" facing the other way if that makes sense - two rows of 3x4"s.
It was a little tight to fit the 4x6" in the Bunnings orange and black ones, I could have taken out the sections to fit them in but decided just to go with the white caddy for my 4x6"s. At the time they had one that would have fit them but there was only one left and it was broken - I was so eager to sort my cards I couldn't wait lol! Hope that helps!
Thanks so much, that helps a lot! I am going to check out Bunnings in the morning as all mine are in the original boxes and it makes it very hard to sort through them. I love using them in traditional 12x12 layouts so those containers would be very handy :)

I got a question for you...what made you decide to sort the cards by color rather than leaving them in the kit they came in. What are the benefits of sorting them this way? I am just starting with the organizing of my project life items and and help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
I was looking for purple scrapbooking papers for a friend's wedding and could find almost no cute purple papers!!! It's bizarre! I guess it's an outdated or untrendy color right now.
