I currently have 3 of these little radios - I usually listen to talk radio and I use a CC Witness with one or two of them so I can replay programs if I accidentally fall asleep during some of them. I also use a CCrane FM transmitter so I can hear the same station all throughout the house if I wish.
cool you are in Fortuna? I used to be stationed at NAVFAC Centreville Beach Naval installation closed down in the 1990's I think, and always went to Fortuna to McDonalds and Taco Bell and the safeway, loved the area I hope all the redwoods are still there

Nice video but it would be better if you showed how you got to the stations. Programming the radio by steps with the handheld', and how to save them would be nice. Some people comprehend by seeing. Rather than trying to figure out the directions. Just a thought!, I love mine and already know which country's I like.

I have only one problem with Internet radios. They still choose what you can listen to because they cannot enter a station with https//www. - that I want to tune into. I like www.myfavoritestation.net. (WRAF) out of Toccoa Falls, GA. Can this radio do that? If so, I'm in!!!!

Sendo assim, qual a diferença entre as duas propostas? Afinal, os rádios wifi são absurdamente caros (sequer vejo sentido que justifique esse valor). Obrigado.

No inicio era complicado pois vc tinha que pedir para seus clientes e amigos instalarem o winamp para poder ouvir sua radio. Com os flash players para por nos sites a coisa evoluiu e com os apps para smartphone ainda mais.Respondendo a sua pergunta o radio wifi vai utilizar uma rede wifi para acessar uma radio web como um smartphone a diferença talvez esteja na qualidade de sinal pois talvez ele tenha mais memoria para fazer buffer de armazenamento do sinal e assim não ficar cortando tanto. Isso tambem depende do sinal da internet que vc estiver utilizando. I love this radio too and love my Pandora stations that play almost ad free for hours. Best feature in my opinion!

Will this work when I'm camping? Do I need a computer and a modem or is the radio self contained?
***** You need a WiFi connection for this radio to work. Won't work when you're camping unless you're camping where it has WiFi.

This version of CC WiFi Internet Radio has been discontinued. We will be offering a newer version coming mid June of 2021.
What this video fails to show is how you can find the one station you're looking for in all the ones that are available.
