I’m putting together a “best of Corey and Kalei” playlist, and this goes right in there. Corey’s solo is brilliant, the best jazz playing I’ve ever heard from him (and I’ve listened to a lot of Corey in the last 2 years).
When I see that 2 people have disliked this I truly realise that you can't please everyone... Literally nothing here not to like - great playing, great instruments, great production, great filming. Loving your work guys as always.
Enjoyed your talent. Hey do you guys know every chord and note you are playing? If so who taught you? Cory seems to know where every note he picks without looking at the fret board. I love the way your hands strum and pick as well as fret the various cords and notes. Seems to be a style every good player uses. Did you have a mentor who taught you the way you fret and pick? Please respond because I want to know and learn the proper way to fret and strum and pick. Also you seem to know all your songs by memory or what someone called a ‘Road Map”. I found this to be amazingly true. I decided to learn some songs by heart. Not too good in reading musical notes, did it the hard way. I listened to recordings of some of my favorite ukulele solos and literally learned the chord and notes by where my hands fretted the chords not knowing what chords I played. I made up some chords that sounded like the sounds that were in the solos. As I played along with the solo repeatedly I began to see the “road map” of the ukulele solo. Weird no? That’s how I learned to play along with solos to the point where I couldn’t tell the difference between the solo and my own playing. I will share my video to show you what this “road map” has helped me to play solo along with the CD in my video I made.
It’s a pleasure just sit down and watch how you two play ukulele... It’s hypnotic. We’ve been following your career for years now and it’s amazing how you get better year after year. Keep it up!!! Greetings from Valencia, Spain
Fantastic...the solo of Kalei recorded in Taiwan was so good but this duo is even better! Thanks guys! My next Uke I am going to buy in your shop and I want you to play Autumn Leaves on that Uke before I take it home. I love your stuff and it is getting better and better. 🤙🌿🤙
Anybody else get a vibe of Live at McCabe’s? That was amazing! I’d pay for a DVD of a jazz set from these two or even an album (though then I’d miss the smiles and visible back and forth).
THANKS GUYS!!!! I have been trying to learn an arrangement of Autumn Leaves for months, and now I have a really awesome uke version to refer back to. (but, no way my playing will ever sound like this).
Awesome! Never had the pleasure of playing one, but I've heard they are some of the best out there. We've used some of Petros inlay in our display cases and it's such a unique product that one of our customers requested. That was the first exposure to Petros and their amazing instruments. We also know the guys at Ukulele Site and their videos do a great job of showing the quality of all the instruments they sell. Fantastic job all around!!
Kalei and Corey... Absolutely beautiful music. i’ve been playing for 15 months: Can you guys recommend a good ukulele teacher/ program for online learning? much appreciated...
When two giants of the ukulele collide.
Sparks fly

I put this on and jam along and my troubles just seem to fly away, like autumn leaves. I can't thank you enough for sharing this!
That was wonderful. Its two-thirty in the morning and I should be in bed, but sleep be damned, I wanted to hear this one more time. Thanks a million.

@@victorjoe1463 did you put down Corey’s chord tabs? Could you share it. Thanks 😉
Ahh yes the force is strong inside these two ukulele Jedi !
It's almost criminal that there only 21K views of this video, a year after it was posted. I'll have to take up the slack.

Kalei and Corey... Absolutely beautiful music. i’ve been playing for 15 months: Can you guys recommend a good ukulele teacher/ program for online learning? much appreciated...
Naisuuu :')
Tight! Do you play the risa electric uke ? Would sound sweet in this set up
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
👏👏👏👏👏
swinging :-)
What kind of mics are used?
👌🏿
What ukulele are they using ?
Anyone managed to replicate the chords? That's amazing
Three times
Wow the guitar bullies ran the other way!
Sounds good, but, you always need accompaniment to make a uke sound good. Or you have to use foot pedals which make for boring repetition. .
