I've got a picture of a 65 GTO after it went airborne for 90 feet and hit 6 trees, tearing two large trees in half. The car is bent like a banana, the roof is torn off, the back end is crushed, both doors are bent in and the back seat is missing. It looks like a Giant took the car and twisted it like wringing out a wash rag. Both occupants were killed, passenger was decapitated, and the driver died of multiple injuries, fractured skull, and internal injuries 45 minutes after the accident. You couldn't recognize the car's make by the picture unless you were told. They were drag racing on a country road back in 71.
La carrocería es de metal o plástico? Que tipo de pistola de calor usa, muy potente para poder ablandar los montantes de la carrocería?. Su trabajo entiendo que es muy interesante.
the way I crush a plastic 1 .24 scale only if missing parts l use the toaster oven l get it hot enough then l use my crusher it looks just like the one in the junk yard I put the car in the crusher then step on the crusher plate . I made it out of steel half inch plates 4 round post the plate move up and down on
awsome work im going 2 test it my self 4 the first time on a 70 dodge challenger t/a (1:24 scale) but i just want it a bit of RAT look ^^ a bit rost and beauti scars :P
Muito bom. Tenho vontade de fazer um modelo assim mais fico com medo de não acertar. Parabéns! Very good. I want to make a model so I'm more afraid of not getting it right. Congratulations!
great video, now i know how to do it like the pros. at the end i was thinking "tie downs tie downs tie downs, OMG TIEDOWNS!" maybe you could do a wrecked prius?
Just showed this video to my wife and told her ....leave it to the pros to wreck cars....bologna sandwiches for the next few days...:/ Great video though.....:)
What are you using to heat it up> I tried a hair dryer and it never worked, the heat lamp did (when i didn't want it to if you know what i mean). Thanks
Maybe, depending on the hair dryer, but the benefit of this plastic welder is how “focused” the nozzle/heat coming out of it is, and the great adjustability of temperature
What kinda little torch are you using to heat up the plastic? I've been wrecking model cars for decades with just a Bic lighter. www.shamblesmodels.com
I keep coming back to this - I think the music and the cars go so well together in a 70's mash up kind of a way - top job!
That video was extremely helpful in inspiration for my own car crash scene! Thank you so much for putting this on TH-cam. this really helps!!
I sure do miss seeing your incredible artistic abilities. Please come back with new videos !!

Dangit, must be a problem on my side...
Nice! I usually just heat what I want up and then use a hammer... But I mostly do this with diecast cars
