Thanks for this great video! My favorite part was seeing the closed captions translate “squish to condish” to “squish chicken dish!” 😆
What do you mean? That’s the real name of the technique
I think this method worked for all the curlies who's videos I've watched, regardless of hair type, porosity, density etc etc...
Your curls turned out beautiful! Shrinkage, shine, definition, volume... Everything's there! Including the darker colour, but that is thanks to soaking wet hair, which you covered in another of your videos.
Love the results! 👍😍
There's a woman on here (Gossamer P.) with floor+ length straight/wavy hair that conditions her hair this way.
I’ve done this and had a great hair day after. I really like the fact you can see everything coming together slowly. It takes a little mire time but I feel like I got that back during the days following when I didn’t have to spend as long refreshing in the morning.
Your curls are goals!!! I need to try this method!
i just discovered one month ago that i had this curly hair like yours i always get my hair rebonded and i didnt realise how cute my curly hair was until this pandemic comes and i wasn't able to go to salon .. 😅 so i decided to cut rebonded hair and i see how cute my curly hair was .. im watching your videos so that i will learn how to take care of it 😅❤️❤️
Currently doing this and wow, I can just feel the difference! Now I need to dry it but because it is too late I will have to plop it overnight in a t-shirt which I don't know how it will turn out, I'll need to update this message and then when I have to wash it the next time, I will try to diffuse it and let you know the difference, how they both turned out 👍
Your curls look amazing I think I just might try the bowl method next wash day 💕
love ur editing and the steps you put❤️❤️ the effort rlly shows
I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this as well. Fun to experiment!
Just did yesterday. So happy you covered this up. I might miss some parts. Love from Indonesia.
This changed my life!! Thank you so much for the easy to follow instructions. Best wash day ever!
I love how your hair looks with this technique, so shiny and clumped! I noticed you used a DevaCurl cream, have you noticed any changes in your curls? Also, I’m a brush styling gal. Is there a way to use this method for brush styling? Not relevant, but I love how informative yet brief your videos are👌
I used it with brush styling and it worked. 😉
I have done this before and my curls were hydrated. I did add a bit of water to the bowl to start
This was amazing! Helping my daughter and already saw the difference on day one. Question, how often Do we need to do the process? And when can she shampoo her hair?
I think she sampooed her hair before all the process
Never heard of this! I’ll give it a try!
I’m going to go back to this method, it had been a while.
This method was created to STOP the water waste 😂😂 and to wet hair using the water from the bowl that already has product in it. You defeated the purpose but your hair looks great. ❤
1 Turn off the shower water
2 recycle caught water with PRODUCT to redistribute the product that would have rinsed off and went down the drain.
🎉😂❤
I bet your hair will be perfect on your next try I love it.
There is no one way to do the bowl method
Have found issues with deva curl? Loads of people have had permanent damage after years of use either now issues to begin with. Just worried about your beautiful hair 🥺
Nope, no issues.
Its wash day for me tomorrow so ama try this :)
Hi, never saw this method before but it turned out very cool. Can you get back pain if you do this routine every 2 times in a week ?
It depends, but for me I do it 3 times / week and I only get back pain while doing it and for about hour after🤷
@@zuzkaklimova ohh okay thank you😊
@@candacemackintosh6227 but keep in mind that it varies from person to person ❤️
Yes, for sure😊❤
Yes have been doing that for 1 year already :)
Is the water in the bowl supposed to be ive cold, warm hot?? Dosent matter?
Can I do this every wash day or is that bad ?
I am pretty sure you can! I don’t see why not
I have tried to use your link to your Amazon shop and it says it isn't available...is there another link to use or do you no longer have an Amazon shop?
Love it!
Can i know what's your curl pattern?
I tried this last night and my top and sides came out nicely and hydrated and soft overall but the back, esp the lowest layer’s clumps were a bit tangled and there was quite a lot of wet frizz, do you have any tips?
Take a look at Gena Marie's videos, she made a video especially about this topic.
I assume the bowl is empty to start so the only thing in the bowl is water with product that has been squished out of your hair? Or do you have to start with some baseline amount of water in the bowl?
Yup empty!
It is a great video. I'm following all yr advice. Could u post a pic of yr hair up close. Mine looks good from distance but when i take a close up from tge back so i can see it, it looks awful!!!!! Im wondering if it's just me!!???
Can I use a mousse in place of a gel?
Do you start with water in the bowl?
I noticed you add more product from the bottles while you do this. Isn’t the point that your product is already in the bowl so just dipping it back in should be enough?
I can do this method however I please 😘 this is what works for me!
@@brittcurls I was just asking as I hadn’t seen it done before.
Do you add more water to bowl before you start this method
I did not!
❤️
How did you dry your hair after you took it out of your shower cap?
Check my diffusing routine!
How to break ur back
What is the purpose of the bowl??? You can do the same without it!!!!
You turn off the water!! You recycle product that rinses off your hair that would normally go down the drain!!
😂😂 I copied your excitement just to be silly.
I don’t think she fully understood all the reasons to use a bowl so she didn’t turn off the water nor did she WET her hair from the bowl to add the PRODUCTY water run off back to her hair.
Here’s a tip, check out no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.
What do you do at night to sleep, I roll on my bed I wake up with a rat's nest
silk bonnet!
I'm really surprised you're recommending the DC products in 2021 considering the massive lawsuits! There are 60K+ people with lasting hair and scalp damage... why would you promote this brand!? Is it just because it's in your financial best interest to do so??? Sorry but I have to unsubscribe.
She has personally never experienced issues with Devacurl. So why shouldn't she continue using them in her routine and videos?
She's not promoting it all. She didn't say she didn't believe people who had suffered from issues due to DevaCurl, she didn't go out and tell you to buy it. She literally just used a product she already owned and didn't have issues with, and put it on her own hair. You're projecting and more over you're being overtly rude and accusatory.
2 years later I still think they are total assholes in the way they denied it to the end. I have never used the product to say I am boycotting it but yeah curlies shouldn’t support this company even 10 years later. They don’t deserve redemption.
