One interesting observation from one of our prominent vocal coach here in Malaysia, Cikgu Shafi, who said Ernie's style of singing has more 'Malay flavor' to it, compared to Aina and Marsha, who are more on Western style. Not saying one style is better than the other. But interesting point and I kind of agree.

Another memorable , unforgettable @ astounding vocal performance by Ernie . Very soothing, so nice to listen to . No rasp, no husky, no crack , enriched with techniques , not annoying at all, it's not easy to deliver this song but Ernie made it seemed effortless and so at peace .. So clean, A+ for vocal control , very proper in projecting the voice ( high & low), in accords to the bit. Just stand straight without moving here and there or dancing , with large blossoming dress ,just focusing on vocal as priority as well as walk the lyric , Ernie had successfully captivated the audiences' heart , as in she sucked up the whole stadium's energy, and paid attention to her performance ... This kind of vocal needs to be globalized internationally... Im so proud , Malaysia has these two high quality new generation vocalists Aina and Ernie.. Marsha is considered a senior as she had begun in 2005.. Like previous mega duo Fran-Zaiton Sameon, Ramlah Ram-Aishah , Fauziah Latif-Nora, Ning Baizura- Nurul, the super legends Siti- Ziana... 😘😘

Im one of Ernie Zakri fan. But everytime I try to find the 'rasa' in her live singing, the Rasa is not enough. Her vocal technique none can deny her so far. She's too focused on her technique. If she put that heavy emotion into her song. It will be an epic masterpiece. Periodt.
She's probably don't want the same thing happened again like she sang Ku Bersuara. She was all out but still she was underappreciated. She should have won.
