It's so nice to see a school spread that can accommodate labs as well as homework and other assignments! I have found that a lot of the spreads on TH-cam seem to be by non-STEM majors and I find that there isn't enough room for all the work my semester requires of me!
That was what I felt too when I would look for school bujo inspiration -- nothing I saw really worked for me being a STEM major! I'm glad this helped you out! :)
First off, your bullet journal is perfection! I couldn't help but get excited by the names of your classes you'd written down--are you a mechanical engineer? Its super awesome to find women in STEM in the BuJo community! I'm curious because I'm currently a freshman engineering student in Boston considering mechanical, but having a tough time deciding. I would love to hear from you about what you think about the major/why you chose it!!
You got it right! I'm a senior mechanical engineering major at UC Berkeley right now! The reason I chose mechanical is because I felt like it was the broadest of the engineering majors, and I wanted to keep my options open since I didn't (and still don't) know what field I specifically want to go into, if that makes sense! We definitely need more women in engineering!!!! Here at my school, the department is only about 20% female :(
Thanks for your response! I am thinking of choosing mechanical for the same reason. The percentage of women in engineering at my school is slightly higher, but not by much. However that is changing every year, which is great to see! :)

I loved the post-it idea for your schedule! Bc not only is it easy and color coded, you can take them out if your classes change! I loved this!!

I've been trying to come up with ways to keep track of my assignments in a more overview-y way (thanks, 24+ course credit semesters) (also thanks ADHD) and your assignment tracker just made me go "...OH". Tomorrow's my finals so I'll probably only get to start using it on the next semester, but THANK YOU for giving me ideas on how to solve my greatest problem so far!

I had to like this video, because while I have a Happy Planner for this year, I'm hoping to convert to a bujo for 2018! I was looking for ideas on how to keep track of my school work using the bujo method, and I think I might adapt some of your method for mine. (Although it's 2017 and I have a whole year before I start using a bullet journal) Great video!

I'm just planning my fall semester :D I'm looking at my subjects info and it took like 5 pages of my bullet journal - 14 subjects, 21 classes per 14 days, plus professional PE lessons 4 hours per week and 5 weeks of practice. I feel like I'm going to go crazy this semester. Do you have any tips for bullet journal and the better planning for this crowded schedule?

I’m self taught! I basically learned from following other lettering Instagram accounts and mimicking what they did. Then it eventually morphed Into my own style!

When you fo assignments for school do you mix it with lile mental health journal part or no
So to start a bullet journal, can use any type of journal notebook the only ones I can find are ruled (have lines?) The pages aren't blank like a sketch book ya know?? I'm so confused on what notebook I need to buy so I can start.
what's the diff btwn the assignment tracker and the semester at a glance?
The semester at a glance shows important dates for holidays, big tests and large projects, midterms, finals, etc. The assignment tracker however contains ALL assignments, big and small!

That's a great idea! I'll definitely do that eventually... I can't promise how quickly, because I only put out a video or two every month, but I'll definitely put it on the list! :) Thanks for the suggestion
does America seriously have 5 month semesters? that's so intense. we have 20 week semesters in Australia, well 22 if you count the 2 week break in the middle
No, I might be wrong, but I think based on the locations and classes she listed, she goes to the same school as me. Our school has 15 week semesters (including one week of break)!

what was the black brush pen that you used?
Small one was a Pigma brush pen, the big one was a Tombow Dual Brush pen!
Good video, nice bujo, good content; but i had to mute it because the music drove me crazy.
Try maybe not going with classical music next time? It's just a suggestion of course, you do as you please, your video has good content either way.
Haha, this was my first bullet journal video ever. If you keep watching, you'll see that my music choice got a lot better :)
I actually loved the music; I recently found classical music is something I can actually listen too while studying to drown out surrounding noise, and now I like to use it to study even if I'm in a quiet environment!
