Thank you! Last year I had a lot of complaints comment to not getting the time on the video that's why I tried my best this time!so I can say, Thank you to them 🙂
And … get back to putting on a show again! My home track WAS Topeka! For years, especially on Sunday, there was a constant show going on. After the invocation the show began! While playing the National Anthem sky divers were bringing the American flag down and landing on the track. We’ve seen the Budweiser Clydesdales, a parade up the road in front of the Top Eliminator Club of all the qualified drivers, we’ve seen wheel standing cars filling in the down times between rounds, jet cars and rare muscle car collections back in the pits. Most all of that is gone. And so is our record setting track! Come on NHRA ….. you’re in the show business! People will pay your ticket prices (within reason) when you give them the incredible shows we used to have!
see those empty stands ? that's what is killing our sport! without people in the stands the game cannot continue to be a viable sport! when the purse is so high that the fans are expected to pay it. the cost to sit in the stands the cost to get through the gates and if your a racer the entry fees are unreal. for most of us who fill these stands 30 + years ago would rather watch sportsman racing something we can almost afford to do. it kills me to see track after track close because the owners can sell the land and mas as much of it as they would in ten years, lower the cost for people to come and watch bringing their families to watch and buy a hot dog or two. lower the cost of racing and and more people will race, i know it's not the 60's and 70's but like video killed the radio star, big money is killing our sport. thank you.
Sorry that's not what's killing the sport is still not that expensive to go kids under 12 still come in free was killing the sport it's easy they're not going to quarter mile anymore no track records 3-second runs and 14 to 15 cars they're not filling the race anymore they got to slow these cars down put a cap on what they can spend and go back to the quarter mile, also ALL RACING IS DOWN. Could be a generation thing
I was there Saturday and the stands shown were on the cheap side. The more expensive pit side seats were nearly sold out despite the rain problems. A large number of people were standing track side.
Awesome video..them machine are unbelievable.ive been to many NHRA events at Memphis motorsports park an Dallas they never get old
There would be people in the stands if they can afford it
Video is good 😎😎👍👍to make it EXCELLENT perhaps show all the times/mph on a grid, and then re-cap the winning run.
