I would have thought being hyper aware of mistakes in a movie, because of your insider knowledge, would only make it a more off putting for you. I found it interesting that you have a more forgiving view and that these mistakes give you a better appreciation for the more difficult or standout aspects of the movie. Very cool to see it from your perspective. Ty Mike. ❤🇨🇦🇺🇸-❤BMR

Aw, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. Yeah, once you have gone through the entire movie-making process you'll realize that making a movie is one of the hardest things to do, especially without having a million-dollar budget. It "humbles" you in a way and makes you more forgiving! Once we reach 10k subscribers we'll release our first movie for you guys to watch. (:

Jim being nekkid at the start...
I agree it's unrealistic. But despite the "gritty realism" of the shooting style, I think Danny Boyle is more concerned with the dramatic over the realistic.
Jim is *completely* vulnerable. A naked, innocent, newborn. And he *is* newborn into _this_ world. The Infected are the "adults" while the humans are confused children trying to learn the rules of the adult world. Jim ultimately grows into adulthood by becoming stealthy and brutal (his nod to Mahler after unchaining him - they are brothers now) and yet retaining his childlike vulnerability allowing Selena to potentially strike him (and her not striking, also being vulnerable). They have both "grown" into adults in a brutal world while keeping their humanity with the power of love (🙄). And their metaphorical daughter, Hannah, doesn't yet understand the "rules" of adulthood and thinks Daddy is hurting Mommy (🤗🤗🤗).
And _then_ Hannah also grows up by letting Dr Who be killed by his own machinations of brutal, false manhood.
Maybe I'm stretching that metaphor thin, but I don't think I am. I believe the author and Boyle intentionally baked that into this tasty cake.
(Bit of an overkill explanation as to why we see Jim's lil jim at the start, I suppose.)

That's a very nice metaphor. Well done, GGG. Have a great weekend! (:

@@BossMovieReactions He could be naked because while people were fleeing the hospital they tried to grab every gown available. Thats more of a realistic explanation. I just listed my 2 dislikes on your main vid even though I love the movie

@@user-wr9ej6xe4j I don't know why they would grab gowns while running away from monsters, but who knows? I thought maybe they were "washing" him, but again, I don't think they would totally strip him of all his clothes. I guess we would have to ask Danny Boyle. But again, it didn't bother me too much, I still liked the movie. (:

if a chimp can be transported inside a cage via airplane then i can see why it was going to world wide. the chimp isnt going to fly anywhere but i see where the original thought was at...look what the CDC transports every month from one facility to another :/
