I'm amazed at how much talent for music is concentrated in the Korean peninsula, and feel flattered that our European classical music tradition is so beautifully continued over there. Greetings from Vienna
They have to cater to western leader's taste and stay relevant. When they are out of the lime light then no cares if they are conquered. Sandwich between Russia and China. (Ain't nothing like imminent evasion does to push the human potential to it's fullest.).
@@wric01 I sincerely hope this is not true for anyone who studies this music. This music is much more than a circus act, it is human emotion in sound. Asian composers have contributed and as you see here musicians.
@@nocturnallsnake4228 The instrument is actually way less important than the skill of the player. A really good player can make any instrument sound beautiful. Yes if your instrument is made of metal it will probably sound like absolute crap lmao but a student viola that isn't completely destroyed is fine if it feels right in your hands ig. It's been a year tho so who really cares.
Wonderful performance, full of nuance. Fully in control and very efficient without losing any of the poignancy. Gave us gratitude for what you might be capable of.
@@emilyj3631 I played the viola for about 15 years. I never noticed any sneering. It depends on how well you play. There are even virtuoso string bass players (Gary Karr) and tuba players (Floyd Cooley of the San Francisco Symphony in the 70s was one).
Nocturnal Snake, The best, richest vibrato is a combination of wrist, fingers and arm, all very subtle, working together to pull the gorgeous tone out of each note. If one of those parts is stationary, it will give a stiff sound that doesn’t compliment the richness of the note.

Wonderfully played with great feeling and beautiful tone.
I don't think I ever went out of my way to listen to a viola piece before. Those double stops were absolutely chilling! The violin could never!
This is my favorite rendition of the piece. It's so beautifully done.
So young, so brilliant! A future star, I'm sure. xxx
What a beautiful viola sound! I wish I could do that!
Get a beautiful sounding viola first off.

The viola is usually sneered at among musicians. But this shows that the instrument can be a delight.
Sneered at? What do you play well?

Nice viola ! Vibrato can be perfected (too much electric for viola) :) Nice prestation though !
Which vibrato do you recommend for viola? Arm, wrist, finger?
