I can only molo Tier One content. I'm in a mix of Tier Three COV Group to Tier 2/Tier 3 ToL Group Gear with one ToL chase weapon. And yeah, rogue DPS is insane. The key is the tank merc holds aggro, you stun the mob with an ambush disc, and then assassinate does the rest. I try this in a tier two zone and it's far too risky (whether I use a healer or tank merc).

I use /mercassist in my kill button, as you say having mercs just charging around is a right pain
