    I'm cleaning mocap in 3dsmax using the biped, the layer system seems pretty much similar, what are the advantages of motion builder over 3dsmax ? thanks !

      Autodesk Motion Builder aka Alias Motion Builder aka Kaydara Filmbox is designed specifically for cleaning mocap in the '90s and nothing else. And later some features in a truncated form were added to Maya and 3dmax

      Hi Michael! 😊 This video covers how to characterize your model in Motion Builder: th-cam.com/video/J58XnhRisX0/w-d-xo.html

    You didn’t explain how to bookmark. Also, we plot twice? I was a bit confused about the second baking/plotting

      Hi there, Thanks for your input! Yes, you are correct in bookmarking and plotting twice are excellent practices when working with Motion Editing and Animation. But our intention of this tutorial was not to create an in-depth video that teaches someone how to do animation and motion editing. There are many resources online and schools that do a wonderful job at teaching those skills. This was more specifically around our tools and working with mocap. Thanks! Rokoko

      Rokoko I don’t think mentioning the key shortcuts to bookmark or why it’s important to plot twice is really any more in depth then explaining more than once the importance of saving... also I do have the Rokoko suit, and I’m getting consistent awful data... DIDNT think I would have to clean so much yet here I am

      @@AngelfaceTV Hi there, sorry to hear that you are getting bad data. Have you already spoken to our support? We'd love to help you out! Can you maybe write to support@rokoko.com? Then we'll make sure to catch it there. First thing is mastering the filters in Studio - hope you will check out this new video we released about that: th-cam.com/video/fFxkTY4Z_lM/w-d-xo.html

      Just realizing that you probably want to use raw data and then can't use the post filters. The suit should definitely be. able to help you get a good live result too. We sent you a direct email. Hope you will respond to that and we can check that your setup is correct. Best, Rokoko

    Why do you not click play and show original animation?. You shy of raw data?

    • @RokokoMotion
      @RokokoMotion  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, we have a bunch of videos showing raw data (it isn't really the point of this video). You can for instance get a really raw look into the entire process including using the clean-up filters inside of Rokoko Studio here: th-cam.com/video/p6UcfQ3H86A/w-d-xo.html

      Probably, if you want to see some raw data, I’m working on a review.... my raw data is awful

    • @RokokoMotion
      @RokokoMotion  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi both, we've shared data a lot of places (there are files in Rokoko Studio when you download) and you can also book an online demo and get the raw recording the product specialist is doing after the call. Please consider that, Ali. @AngelFaceDGAf As mentioned in the other thread, we'd be very happy to help you get set up right and get the most our of your suit. Please reach out to us directly and we'll arrange. Thanks, Rokoko

    I wish Motionbuilder didn't cost an arm and a leg
