Nightmare getting to that cereal factory when they were doing roadworks
The first time I delivered to there the road works were in full force 🙈 I nearly went all the way around but I believe there is a few low bridges and weight limits etc so risked it through the road works - luckily I could get through
Your totally correct regarding the lane marking when you can go into lane 3. Obviously that lorry doesn’t care or not aware he’s in the wrong.
I thought it was, it’s when you see others doing something it makes you double guess sometimes

Darren - brilliant opening shot hooking up to that trailer- that is totally a first on the trucking VLOG scene- never seen it like that before....these vids just keep getting better! Less high speed videos with dance music and more action!!!!

Ooo not thought about Ireland for a caravan holiday, the countryside and coastal areas look fantastic
If you want to see what the coast of Ireland is like, look at Urban Vanlife, they have just spent 3 months touring round the coast, stunning beaches that equal some of the ones in Scotland.
Hi Darren, quick question, why don't the loader of the trailers secure the load, it would save you and all the other drivers quite a bit of time.
I did think the same myself but then it would add extra time on the loaders as there is only 2 guys that prep around 8 trailers, and also there it’s down to load safety - if something goes wrong due to the load not being secured it’s down to the driver

Worn out fuel Filter....A clogged filter will likely cause an influx of sulphur deposits to the catalytic converter, hence the strong egg smell.

Hi Darren, how long did it take driving these before you were good at reversing and slow speed maneuvers? I'm on day 2 as a lorry driver and it's baffling :)
It can take awhile but after a couple of weeks it will just become natural, try not to over think and go slow when reversing as it’s easier to control
Look at the cost of a caravan, and how much use you would get for the money.

I had 4 caravans over 8 years, never lost more than £200 on a caravan after using most for around 2 years, used them 52 weeks a year, saved loads on holidays, never paid more than £30 a night.

No such thing as a silly question 😃 all of our trucks are named after Greek mythology gods 😃
