Rodney Palmer, I'm 50 as well, I was in Wichita and listening to a Friday night rock show on the radio one day. First heard it, and I thought wow...this band is so kicked-ass. So I bought their CD and have been keeping it since 1996. Love this band.
I know you posted this a while ago, but this was the first album I heard/purchased from them and holy shit did it blow my mind 👍 Gary Meskill is harder than a coffin nail 👍
Glad they are still together, I jammed this shit in the 90s non stop. The truth hurts, Contents under pressure, Foul taste of freedom we my favorite albums. Hearing this now brings back memories. Great underrated band. Perfect mix of speed metal, punk, and even a bit of hip hop. Way ahead of their time. When you get older the lyrics really come to life.
I just discovered Pro-Pain last week this is the best metal band I've heard in a long time. I'm a old school metal head at the age of 46 they got a great grove.
Foul Taste Of Freedom is great too, but Contents Under Pressure?! Come on, that's just buh-dass my man 👍 like 20 years ago now i had the long sleeve shirt and the title of the album took up the entire back of the shirt, a mom in her 50's started at 25 and went up to 80 to buy it off my back, lol. I politely refused of course 👍 then i lost the shirt 👎
I used to listen to this album over and over. So many good, hard riffs!!! Took me some looking and searching but after 20 years I was able to find it! My 2 year old son has a love for metal my wife and I cannot comprehend. Can't wait to play it for him!
Been a fan of Gary since Crumbsuckers(yes I'm that fucking old), and he still puts out some of the most culturally relevant hardcore, to this fucking day. Own the entire Pro-pain discography, and I cycle through all of it pretty regularly, much to my wife's dismay.
This and The truth hurts are my 2 favorites. Love these guys and hope Gary is doing better. Hardest working band on stage they don't even take breaks. Opened for them twice so I seen it first hand. Great guys most underrated bands of all time.
The crumbsuckers were the best punk/hardcore band ever,I love in Australia and when they finished I was shattered, you got to remember Perth western Australia is the most secluded place in the world,we used to have to get an onkelz album and tape it between 50of is,so I never heard of pro pain until 3years ago, I just couldn't believe they were still around, even now I can remember every word of every song of life of dreams and bomb,I had to get a rent a cd joint to find bomb then I stole it and went to jail for a few no because I stole it for other shit, this band are the best, fuckin piss in Metallica and slayer and anthrax those bands were and are shit agnostic Front were good but they have nothing on pro pain, alcohol is a cunt of a drug,ye get drunk and spin oot,say things ye don't mean or remember, sorry for being a fuckwits,it's the story of my life!
I was 12 years old when I first heard this. I was flipping through the radio in the car waiting for my dad to come out after my 6th grade basketball game. I went home and called the radio station and asked who it was and then I used my paper route money to buy the CD.
I'm not far from Ithaca NY where foul taste of freedom was recorded. Overkill, and many others were recorded and played there locally. 90's was great for metal for sure!
@@trajandeitrich Cool! I am from Utica. I didnt realize they were local. This is the song that introduced me to metal, and this was the day I became a metalhead.

Fuck yeah,I'm so glad to finally see one of the most underrated band's getting some recognition!!I've been into these guy's since day1!!Fucking killer!!
I just dont understand those "underrared" comments. This band is recognized and appreciated by true hard core / metal fans. I dont care about majority false metalheads. Soctgis bad is rated as one of the best. Please stop those "underrated" commments. That is stupid.

This is my favourite Pro pain album. For some reason I sold all of my albums for hardly anything a few years ago, regretted it ever since. I had a three disc multi changer stereo........ It always had 3 pro pain albums in on constantly. This is a god send of an upload
Activist? lmao. Sit down son, you ain't changing nothin'. You're just along for the ride to destruction like the rest of us. Repent. Jesus saves. You don't.
I mustve smoked a pound of weed during these recording sessions and devolping this sound recorded on Michigan street in long beach the cops didn't give a fuck ……..it was a historical moment with all original members

Hardcore too, they crossed over good with all different scenes. The album after this, they're 4th one (self titled) is right there too. Great shit
It’s got heavy groove, too. Ohhhhh those riffs.
