He wanted to win titles, so what was the point of choosing Madrid, they had no titles this year. As of right now I honestly think Bale is a better player than Ronaldo. What Bale did last year was ridiculous, literally all of his goals were of HIGH difficulty he didnt play with no where near the level of talented players Ronaldo did and the EPL is more defensive.

Neymar has made more significant contributions to Barca than Bale has to Real, and at a third of the price (official book value ;)

Bale had a great season cuz he's in the best team, but individualy... he's just a faster average player... he's good, but there's soo many better players that are often viewed as worse than him, like ibrahimovic, suarez, van persie, yaya toure, reus, neymar, lahm, di maria, james, modric, robben, pirlo etc... (and obviously cristiano and messi)

The reason Bale was better (and not by much) is because it was Neymar's first season at Europe(bale played in europe his entire life) and Real Madrid was the best team of the world while Barcelona was passing through a crisis (xavi and iniesta, the heart of the team, was getting old). Plus, Tata Martino did a terrible job with Neymar's position, he had no freedom at all.
We saw what Neymar can do when he has more freedom to move and is used to the team he's playing, that is for Santos and Brazil .
