Sometimes it's difficult to draw a clear line between what is French House and what is Future Funk, especially nowadays with more recent music. I think French house is much more elaborate in terms of production and sampling. Despite this, songs that actually have all the characteristics of French house are often mistakenly categorized as future funk. I consider that the song I have included by Yung Bae (which is a Hackosef remix) is French house. I have never sought to compare both genres, French House simply seems better to me, with much more history, great artists and songs/albums. Future Funk often does not go beyond taking a Japanese City Pop song and changing the bpm and drums, being the song practically identical to the one it 'samples', and I don't like that very much. It is a totally personal opinion, of course.
