This makes it obvious that swing was just meant for people to have fun, based on the wacky names and wacky dances to go along with them. I love this genre
Wacky 😂😂 I’m weak! This comes from my culture as an African American. For example, the Cake walk is something my grandparents made under the conditions of slavery to make fun of people without them knowing. 😂😂😂 you should really look into African American culture if your interests include Swing style dancing and even Jazz culture as a whole. Blues, rock and roll, country too. K pop, Ska, and so many other things were touched by my culture as an African Just….please do some research before you call things wacky 🙄 you wouldn’t like it if I called your culture wacky and then said I loved it. That’s weird.
I'm that guy in the video, and I have learned so much about how swing and everything started! I'm so grateful and excited that we can still keep that vibe alive. It nearly died out a while ago, but having it around me has always been something I cherish
though a little fast for me to try to follow this is perfect for learning the names and what the moves are supposed to look like so i can try to look up specific steps. thank you so much for posting this.
I am always interested to see dance spaces and this one is AWESOME! Can you imagine looking out the window at that view every day? We should be so lucky.
I feel like i do this moves natural, by far not all of them but i think its kindda the baise of shuffel and a shit ton load of other "modern" dances. Love it :D
is this in boulder? i'm asking because i live in boulder (it looks like the foothills in the background) and i am looking to incorporate some swing into my aerial dancing

My fav is Cake walks 0:42
Can you do each one in a separate video filmed from the back? front is so hard to follow to learn.
we did an updated one a smidge later, and we've got both front and side perspectives at least
great ideas!

Does he have to repeat anything? Anyway, nice ones!
Everyone processes information/commands differently
hoooly shitt
The good thing is you can move as you wish to swing. No need to do these goofy moves showed in this video.
Stealing some.
