It surprises me that they were coded to specifically cower in fear to phantom gannon, but not anything else. The amount of thought that goes into this game constantly surprises me!
I'm pretty sure they're never supposed to be near Phantom Ganon/Gloom Hands to begin with, so it's even crazier that they have a reaction
Ye it's like in botw, fighter NPCs would cower from Guardians even if they're never supposed to see one

i thought it was the gloom they were reacting to.
There are tons of secret reactions in both games. Some are definitely unintended. Impa will run out of her house if you bring a bokoblin, all while still sitting on her pillows!
Even after months of watching your content, I still can't believe how one person can have so much patience and effort put into a single idea. Hats off to you.
I know, right?? I play some pretty grindy games that require quite some devotion and patience, such as Warframe and Minecraft, and even I wouldn’t have the tolerance to see through half the things this guy does in this game.

there was an japanese guy who did that, it was a blue one and he needed to. break the lynels AIwith those magical fences but it was possible.
6:36 if you actually notice, the Club didn’t KO them, the Gloom around Phantom Ganon did. Really cool attention to detail!
Crazy how they made Gloom actually damage NPCs even though they should never touch it. You can KO anyone just by pushing them into the Gloom near a chasm!

Nah! That was on anime level. The way they had the epic boss fight with the Hinox just for Phantom Ganon to EASILY wipe them out, and take down our goron hero last. The way they just fell to the gloom.
For the first time, Ganondorf's power in gameplay felt lore accurate. 👏

Next time I do this I'll try to band together all 3 Crews and create a literal army! Maybe then they'll stand a small chance against a lynel :0

So cool how you brought them all to the Hinox! How were you able to line them all up on the ship? I tried to take all the kids from the school on a field trip but it was hard to get them all on
I used the tail piece of the baby leviathan skeleton to push them into a line. No idea why but the leviathan bones are really good at pushing NPCs. It's now in my permanent list of favorite Autobuilds.
@ThornyFox yeah that’s in my favorite autobuilds too. :) But the kids like to run around so I couldn’t keep them still. Don’t the soldiers move too? How did you keep them still?
I had the same problem with the kids, they all ran from the bone in fear. For some reason the soldiers didn't run from it, they just stood there with worried looks. Maybe the kids are _more_ scared of moving objects because of their age? That would be a cool attention to detail!
Oh my gosh! Your videos are so funny and I love what you did to the general 😂 also the "mighty" monster control crew was super "heroic" to take down the phantom Gannon.
I love the detail of Link being the only one who is at least resistant to gloom in some way while they all die instantly.

I thought they would just despawn or not fight when you took them to the Hinox and Phantom Ganon, but they did! Regular gaming companies would probably not do that kind of thing. Also great video 👍

Probably! At least regular ones, idk about disguised ones. Only cuccos can detect them.
The Monster control crew got rid of their hearts just before the fight against Phantom Ganon, that's why they were scared and died instantly

It was a real challenge because they kept running off in every direction when i tried boarding them on my ship. It's like they didn't want to fight a giant cyclops 16 times their size!

Umm, this video is Yiga propaganda and is in no way representative of the efficacy of Hyrule's Monster Control. While the volunteers may not be seasoned veterans of monster combat, they are just as capable at defeating any monster as efficiently as any other Hylian.
