I started listening to Hammerfall when I was 14 - 15, and this is one of my favorite songs. Now I'm almost 35 with a 5 year old kid of mine own. Two weeks ago I played this song for him and he loves it! In fact, he's even started to learn English to be able to sing along with the chorus and understand its meaning.
My uncle used to play this all the time when I was little, and I've always loved this song specifically. It has definitely impacted my taste of music forever - and definitely in a good way. After re-discovering this I feel like I found a missing part of myself and no matter how many times I listen to it again, I get chills. I love this

I agree, @@insertanynameyouwant5311, it really wasn't. Hammerfall had pretty decent CGI in their videos for the time. It's easy to forget how quickly this field has progressed until we today simply don't expect to be able to tell the difference between CGI and reality. Anyone who wish to examine the rate of progression themself should look at the water in Star Wars Episode II when Obi-Wan visits the cloners and compare it to the same in the _video game_ The Force Unleashed II that came out only months later. So yeah, this wasn't bad back in the day.

fun fact : I found hammerfall when one day I entered literature class before it actually started and my teacher was sitting there with his laptop and asked if we (me and a couple classmates) knew what manly music is and of course we wanted to know, second later the dude turned on 2 external speakers and started blasting this song

I'm 21 and I listen to almost every music genre out there. Metal, rock, electro, pop. When I was like 15 or 16 I discovered this epic music. Even though my music taste is somewhere else I still love this music. HammerFall, Helloween, Stratovarius, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Avantasia, Edguy, Kamelot and lot of other pure epic metal bands. This is like my childhood summed up in one song. I'm really thankful for all these years spent listening to these masterpieces :)

When this video was broadcasted on cable tv about 15 years ago when I was about 8 years old it was the moment that I fell in love with metal. I was playing or something when my father said "come and watch this" so I looked at the tv, heard the music and went completely crazy. I vividly remember me jumping up on the Coffee table and played air guitar like a mad man. Good times.
I recently introduced this song to my 4 year old daughter. What a moment it was! She had a blast, so do I to experience this pure masterpiece with her!
I also have a 4 year old daughter, she really likes music and to dance around like a little monkey. I'll put this on later after kindergarten, need to see her reaction =). Thanks.

Los vocalistas son excelentes a pesar de la edad! pd: Recorrimos 700km para ir a verlos, casi nos matamos a la vuelta en el camino del cual salimos ilesos, y pudieron haber sido las últimas bandas que escuché. Hace tiempo fui a ver a Rammstein en vivo... Viaje muy lejos, y me perdi en el camino al auditorio, me perdí a la salida, no encontraba la salida del complejo de lo grande que estaba, cada salida me llevaba a otro lado... y porque era noche, ovbio...batalle para encontrear taxi en la madrugada... quien sabe que mas cosas me pasaron en el viaje pero se menosprecian los incidentes porque valio la pena jaja
