I purchased the deck and expansion pack. I purchased them on February 2nd 2023. The book came out and I purchased it on February 2nd 2024! Funny little coincidence...Imbolc. Living in the US the shipping was really high so I made sure that I could get the expansion pack as well. You really must get it! A lot of really beautiful alternative cards such as The Soul Searcher for the Hermit..who turns out to be The Buddha. Another Death card, Princesses if you would rather than Pages. That's all I'll say. No need to give away all the cards!😂
It's such a beautiful and interesting deck one could study for eternity. I've been so on the fence with this one since it came out. And since me and the deck both in EU, it actually would've been a sensible choice too. Always lovely to see a walkthrough of it and have a little venture into the deck myself, thank you! 🧚🏼♀️

Expansion is definitely worth it, I got everything because I thought it was so cool. Love more cards to really get to customize your mood. I think their IG just posted they are restocking soon too 🎉
Great video Simon! I bought this deck a few months ago and then ordered the book afterwards. Both the deck and book are lovely but I must admit I haven't used the deck much at all so far. I too made similar choices and kept my deck fairly traditional and also left out the suit of vessels as I think there are quite enough with the other cards. After watching this video I now want to pull my deck out 😁

Was really nice to see you being happy about it! I have it with the expansion, absolutely love it, although the main deck is definitely plenty already. On days where I don't really vibe with either Devil card, I end up using Hubris instead because the fallen angel connection makes a lot of sense to me. The faint numbers work in my favor there, I can pretend it says "XV" instead of "XVI" at the top :D I use the leftover cards in different ways, they're too pretty to be kept in the box! With the expansion, you can make a seperate Major Arcana, but you can also just mix all the leftovers up for additional "seasoning" of a reading, like an oracle, it works surprisingly well. I've also used them individually as focus cards for readings before, similar to when you do a portrait spread in Lenormand and use a significator card. And I've had some out in a photo frame, just to look at the imagery. Right now I've built kind of a 33 card "masculinity oracle" with most of the leftovers that depict masculine figures. It has sparked a lot of reflection so far, lol.

I know this was posted a while back, but just in case you've missed it: they're doing pre-orders for the deck and expansion again, estimated shipping in mid-September :) It seems to be compatible with the most recent version of the deck. Whether you get the expansion or not, I think you'll love this deck. I got it for myself as a Christmas present, and have been using it every day for the entire year, without the expansion pack. I even took out the Vessels suit. Still, I love them. Or, I don't know if "love" is the right word. I use them every day to pull my daily draw and I've come to a point now after 7 months with the deck where I don't think twice about it. It just is. I'm not bored, confused, annoyed, or otherwise having any other negative feelings about the deck. *I'm content.*
This deck is one of my all time favorites! If you look closely, the female fool becomes the Queen of Cups! Also I think it's pretty neat that, if someone wanted to, they could have all 4 cardinal virtues (justice, fortitude, temperance, and prudence). Any for anyone that enjoys pairing oracle clarifiers with tarot, The Earthbound Oracle goes very well with it.
The good news is.....there might be a collectors edition with extra cards in the making, and I think they were also suggesting a smaller guide book to purchase separately. The website only allowed 2 items at a time to be shipped to U.K, so I had to purchase in 2 parts anyway.
@@Out_on_a_Limb_Life they tend go in and out availability on the website. To UK, there was a restriction on parcel cost, which meant 1 or 2 items, slight oain in postal costs, but less taxes.
Got this deck direct from the creator, along with the guidebook. it currently is one of my go to decks. I have not really used the Vessels suit in it though. I am on the waitlist for the expansion pack, not sure if I will order it though. The creators are looking at making some, or a larger edition of this deck, which I like the idea of. And also a mini guidebook.

I have all three and personally don’t think you’re missing out by not having the expansion pack. It’s oddly done. Random cards and when finished deciding which cards one may want to replace Im left with the same amount of expansion deck cards I began with which I have nothing to do with except try and keep separated from deck. Like an extra from some of the suits, a few Majors but nothing cohesive that can be used.

Like you, I was unsure about whether to invest given the costs - I paid €127.90 all in for book and deck, without expansion - and was worried about missing out, so went all in, once stocks started to really drop. It’s beautiful and the book is an entity all of its own. Keen to see how the Collector’s Edition extra large version goes and will be picking up the expansion when that’s republished, too. It’s great when indies get it so right, you can feel their passion, love and care - they get how we feel about decks. Those Somnia decks looks stunning, thanks for the look!
I have the deck , expansion and book 😍😍😍 I needed to get the expansion pack as there was cards which I wanted to switch from the orginal deck but if I could not ordered it - I would work with main deck and guidebook and that’s ok too 😍 now - I’m happy I did this month ago - before your review 🤣 otherwise it would be mission impossible to get all 3 🤣
