Their grave is down the road from my house here in Vermont. I grew up seeing them on the weekly. Private people who loved horses and kept to themselves. They were the best kind of neighbors

When Bronson first met Jill and her then husband, he told Ian. I’m going to marry your wife.

Bronson cane from a poor family with many kids, when Kurt Russell as a child, worked on a film with Bronson he gave him a birthday gift, a remote toy plane. Bronson accepted it and walked away saying nothing. Later he told Kurt thank you. That’s the first gift I’ve ever gotten. I didn’t know what to say

It was quite possible infidelity played a role in that. And it's almost certain that first infidelity was Davids. The public frenzy over that show bordered on absurd.
Few people handle what seems like instant stardom, well. It was my opinion, at the time, that instant stardom was far more a cause.
Bronson didn't agree with that. He would encouraged her in roles that the "long suffering wife" of a star would have never thought of as her right.
And no one could have said his grief wasn't real and devestating..
