I've updated my megapack for ATS.
In this video i use my new N14 Cummins.
What's new ?
-Improved N14 with new samples.
-Improved Cat C15.
-Added new scs trucks support to the pack
-All engines sounds compatible with multiplayer
-Some improvements and some bugs are fixed

Can you please update this legendary mod for our new Mighy Bulldog, MACK Pinnacle by SCS ?
I tried to copy and rename your current Mack Anthem folder in the mod to make those nice sounds work on Pinnacle too, but that old easy trick did not work because of some changes by SCS which i cannot figure out..
So WE NEED YOUR HELP :D Please come back and save our nice new Bulldog from ugly SCS sounds again ;)

I'm sorry, but Kaptain Kriechbaum's engine sound mods will always reign champion. His Cat 3408 sounds amazing! In my sound settings, I have the turbo slightly higher than the engine sound, so you can hear it inside the cab or outside the cab. I'm not knocking the other people that create engine sounds and they do a great job, but the "Godfather" of all engine sound mods and the first, goes to Kriech.
His 3408 is one of my favorites too. No engine brake noises but the brake saver works really well and is realistically what the engine would have had. I have at least 4 gliders with the 3408 😃

Very nice, demoing it with Ruda’s W900 is also even better to know his trucks are supported. Know my K100E by overfloater will also benefit from this. 😊

you are missing something the detroit and cummins engines Detroit Diesel 6v53 and 6v92 cummins KTA & NT855 SC these engines are my favorite for ATS game but i like it dream in n14 is real life :)

This n14 is the best of all n14 mods out there the only thing that can be approved is the volume of jakes out side of the cab you bearly hear it

I can't wait for another pack to come out with the update for the new volvo, I still don't carry it because the Kriechbaum mod makes all the difference in the game, in fact this game is only alive because of the mods, I don't know why, since decided to use Fmod, the sound quality dropped absurdly, my guess is that the sound guy can't project them at maximum quality.
Thanks for the great sound. There is no sound because the description of sounds[]: "remote|/sound/truck/multi/freightliner_cascadia_rm.bank#remote/engine" is missing in sound_dd15.sui of cascadia. Please check.

If it were not for these amazing engine sound I literally would not play this game. Because of these truck sounds, I have bought every dlc. ATS should give you something for making their game just better overall.
When it comes to a game focused on driving and simulating driving a truck, the sound MUST be as good as the scenery. In this area ATS has failed hard. If it was not for this must have sound pack.
The day this mod breaks is the day I stop ATS trucking. Here is hoping for a 4.3 release to cover the new trucks.

Ich hoffe deutsch ist deine Muttersprache. Anders kann ich das Folgende nämlich nicht schreiben.
Vielen Dank für deinen Sound-Mod. Ich habe einige andere ausprobiert. Aber NIEMAND(!) bekommt die Sanftheit der großvolumigen Diesel so hin wie du. Die sanften Übergänge beim schalten,die hörbaren,aber subtilen Nebengeräusche der diversen Aggregate. Ich kenne Videos von Exhaust bzw mitfahr Videos diverser US-Trucks und man erkennt die Geräusche sehr gut wieder. AST spiele ich ohne deinen Sound-Mod grundsätzlich nicht! Oft setze ich mich nur ran weil ich mich vom Klang der Diesel beruhigen lassen will. Daher nochmal vielen vielen Dank für deine hervorragende Arbeit!
Deshalb würde ich gerne etwas zurückgeben. Ist nicht viel. Aber vielleicht verschafft es dir ebenfalls soviel bzw mehr Freude beim spielen wie das dein Mod für mich macht. Ich bin gelernter Berufskraftfahrer,habe den Beruf auch 17Jahre ausgeübt, weiß also von was ich jetzt rede.
Möglicherweise fährst du so wie du fährst nur für die Videos zur Präsentation. Falls nicht,fährst du die Böcke "falsch". Viel viel zu hochtourig. Was sich in exorbitanten Spritverbräuchen in deinen Anzeigen äußert. Die meisten deiner Motoren fahre ich zwischen 6-7 Miles pro Galone. Das sind runde 28-34 Liter auf 100km ,was auch den Verbäuchen der heutigen europäischen LKW´s entspricht. Nicht verwunderlich. DD ist Daimler und der A26 von Internationial ist ein MAN,der Paccar ein DAF. Nur Cummins ist soweit ich weiß noch "rein amerikanisch".
Das bestgenutzte Drehzahlband jedenfalls ist immer das,wo die Hersteller das größte Drehmoment angeben. Dort haben die Motoren dann auch ihren geringsten Spritverbrauch. Wenn also angegeben wird das ein DD oder ein x15 seine 2300 Newtonmeter zwischen 1200 und 1400 Umdrehungen hat (alte Motoren können deutlich höher liegen),dann hält man bei manueller Schaltung die Drehzahl auch genau dort. Die Automatik machts sowieso (real,nicht bei scs). Man nutzt nur die Gänge die man wirklich braucht und überspringt die anderen. Was du auch machst. Allerdings kann man bei einer 18er Schaltung locker 1 1/2 bis auch 2 ganze Gänge überspringen. Vor allem leer,oder bei leichtem Berg ab. Schlussendlich ist nur das Drehmoment entscheidend.Die PS sind mehr oder weniger unbedeutend und kommen nur dann zum tragen,wenn du bei Bergauffahrten die Drehzahl über die (bleiben wir beim Beispiel) 1400 (Max. für max.NwM) Umdrehungen jagst,weil die Last beim Schalten dir viel mehr Geschwindigkeitsverlust als 200 Umdrehungen verursachen würde. SCS hat aber weder die Berge,noch die Auswirkungen der Last so konzipiert als das das dergestalt passieren würde. Oft fühlt es sich ja eher an als würde man mit einer Corvette eine Coke Bottle transportieren.^^ Wobei auch ich im Spiel berghoch und Ausladung mal bis 1500 oder 1600 gehe. Du wirst merken das die Dinger sich noch smoother ,unaufgeregter fahren lassen wie du es schon ganz gut im Video machst.
Ich wünsche Dir eine angenehme Zeit und -nicht ganz uneigennützig ^^- noch langes Wirken am Mod.^^
