I love the message of the Rapture and being ready when Jesus comes back, but I don't like the message of bondage. We live by faith in Jesus and not by the law. God is very particular about our food, dress, and conduct. Holiness is not something magical but is about living the life of Christ in our daily activities. True faith works by love (Gal 5:6) and this is the love of God that we keep HIs commandments (1 John 5:3). The BIble is clear about outward adornment (1 Peter 3:3-5), about women not dressing male clothes (Deu 22:5), about not loving pleasures more than God (2 Tim 3:1-5). There is no holiness without obedience to God's commandments. And NO ONE shall see God without living a life of obedience (Heb 12:14). Eternal life is guaranteed on condition of obedience (Rev 22:14). Jesus died to show us that we can not trangress God's law with impunity and expect to go to heaven. 1 Cor 10:31 tells us to give glory to God in all that we do, whether we eat or drink. Outward adornment leads to self exaltaion and drawing people to self instead of to Christ. Yet, we, like John the Baptist, should always pray and work that not us but Christ be honored, loved, exalted, not us but Christ be seen, be known, be heard, Christ in every look and action, in every thought and word. I actually liked the message in this video except that mama success took it to extremes--more like a Pharisee; but she was on point on many things.

Then the Bible would not say that we should not defile the temple of God which is our body. 1 Cor 6:19-20; 3:16. Also, our thoughts become actions, actions become habbits and our habbits form our character. Our thoughts are influenced by what we see, hear, taste, and feel. So we can not ignore the fact that physical food, daily conversation, has an effect on our spiritual state. One cannot not be listening to gossip and expect to be pure at heart. One cannot expect to drink beer and still expect to have a sober mind that can distinguish between right and wrong. So, no, Jesus is particular about what we should eat or drink, as well as how we appear in dressing because we represent God. 2 Cor 5:20
