China has been producing silk for thousands of years. Makes you wonder who the genius was who figured out you could make a luxurious fabric from the cocoon of a certain species of moth. 😮
Indians were the first to do it and Chinese copied it.. Romans went bankrupt buying silk in exchange for gold. Indians silk were so good, that several metres of silk cloth was packed in a small matchbox..
Did you know that according to legend, the discovery of silk dates back to around 2700 BCE and is often attributed to Lady Hsi-Ling-Shih, the wife of the Yellow Emperor of China? Imagine how they might have first stumbled upon this incredible material-what do you think their initial reaction might have been upon unraveling that first cocoon?
Witnessing the entire process, from the meticulous care of billions of silkworms, the harvesting of cocoons, to the detailed factory production stages, is both informative and mesmerizing. Very interesting😍🥰🤩
I totally agree! 😊 The entire process, from raising silkworms to producing silk, is so fascinating and beautifully captured. Wouldn't it be amazing to see it in person? 😍✨
Absolutely! The attention and care they give to each stage really show how much they value the process. 🐛✨ It's amazing how this dedication results in such high-quality silk. 🌟 Have you learned anything new about silkworms from this video? 😊
This is how the silk is collected and extracted and then collected and processed for its very early Industrialization in which China is the World Leader par excellence!! Marvelous !!
When I was little, I saw them plant mulberry trees to feed silkworms, and now I get to see from A to Z how to raise silkworms. It's really interesting.
@@Samdiscoverystudio why tf would people here know about silkworm cocoons? No one cares... Its interesting to see sure, but no one cares any deeper than that unless u make money from it...

I had a silk worm As a kid in a terrarium and got to see it spin its cocoon, and eventually emerge. The leaves it ate and the musty environment of the terrarium is a smell I’ll never forget. Not horrible, I just have never smelled anything like it before. Seeing the first clips on this video brought it right back. Brains are cool and weird all at once.
